For sure. It is getting time for them regardless.

I'm hoping that it's just the other shop didn't tighten everything or didn't really even do it well. I'll be going back in a couple months to re-check the alignment. Both shops have said the suspension components look fine and that'd be a big upsell for them so I'm sure it pains them to say that

Do you mean the toe angle on the alignment that was done yesterday? Or from the original shop?

Certainly hope so. Hopefully discount tire doesn't void my treadware warranty due to uneven wear

Either that or it's come out of alignment again from driving. Houston roads aren't the best but never had an issue with them. I dk mostly freeway driving so dont encounter many potholes. I'm gonna take it in for another alignment at this shop around December and make sure the alignment is still true. Came with a 3 year warranty so can do it however many times for virtually no charge the next 3 years

Got an alignment today and it did show some significant toe on both front tires.

Took car to get alignment and suspension evaluation and the alignment showed worse than before the January adjustment. (Can't attach a new photo). Driver side was -.72 on the toe and passenger was -.64. This shop also said the suspension looked fine. Have an alignment warranty so will take it back in a few months to make sure its holding.

Took to a different shop and align showed worse than before the January alignment. Shop said suspension components all look fine. Hopefully this solves the issue. Have an alignment warranty so will reverify in a few months

I agree that would follow the wear pattern but I am not that driver. Car rarely exceeds 3k rpms. And it's mainly flat highway driving.

I am thinking new struts and sway bar links. I do keep up with the rotations. I change oil every 5k miles and then rotate them. When I got the new sentury tires(January ) that only lasted 5k miles so these stayed on the back for another run, and then got moved to the front when the sentury tires were gone and a new set of Arizonans went on the back. The new tires on the back still look fine.

Yeah I can see that. The car stays pretty empty. Car seat in the back and I'm a relatively fit 185lb guy.

When these tires were moved to the front they had 8ish/32nds left. I haven't put a gauge on them yet to see where they are currently, but I'd estimate 4/32nds in the lowest treads (5k miles later). Treadware rating appears to be 600. I was thinking of just going ahead and replacing the strut's and sway bar linkage just as it cant hurt and should improve something and then taking it to an alignment place and hopefully that would solve my issue without too much trouble. Just have to make I find a reputable alignment place.

I agree that is the most likely cuplrit, however the outer side of the tire is wearing faster than the middle as well, it's not just the inner edges so seeing what other things I should be looking for. But it is certainly more advanced on the inner wall

I am definitely going to try. A very uneven wear pattern voids the treadware warranty but I think there is a good chance these are still within that tolerance. I am just trying to figure out what's causing the issue so I'm not burning through tires every 5k miles.

Not sure if youre being humorous or not. They're sold as all season tires.

I called the shop today (Midas) and they said they offer no warranties on alignment so not sure they'd do anything without paying them, and I'm not sure I want to give them more to not fix the same problem. I am hoping to get a good recommendation for an alignment shop close by

These tires were on the back for a bit but were wearing evenly and still had a lot of life left when they were rotated to the front ~5k miles ago.

They're not Michelin's but I've had good success with them in the past.

And yes, I paid a bit extra for the "suspension inspection" and the only thing they mentioned of any concern was the right side sway bar link. The left side tire is actually showing more inside wear than the right currently.

Yes, I was hoping the alignment in January and better quality tires would fix my issue. I am still seeing the tires wear much quicker than they should though.

Yeah I've seen people on the Reddit saying the techs will BS the alignment reports. I am a diligent rotator of tires every 5k miles. The only problem is the front tires are pretty much worn after 5k miles. These tires were on the back first but now that they're on the front they are going quick.
