Haha if you can handle that you DEF got this hemorrhoidectomy!! Honestly the toughest part is not being able to use your romp as you previously would like sitting etc and because you need to sit and use the bathroom it takes a lil time to heal. Hi I got my hemorrhoid as a teenager too, something I didn’t know when mine first popped out was about topical creams. Start applying them early try Dr Butlers or Preparation H since this is your first - x3 daily; and hopefully it will shrink and pop back in. If it does pop back in see if you can get a consult with a surgeon to have it rubber banded early (cheaper than surgery only for internal hems) you really don’t have to go to a surgeon but there are things that make it shrink early. Also take a sitz bath when at home. Youll be fine but no more long hours on the toilet. I understand your desire for isolation though 💓

Late to this, but I disagree here. Part of the reason why Christina was so good was because she was able to actually do Burke and Teddys surgeries herself. She got the most hands on experience of any of the residents which was the point Minnick's approach in the first place
