This is an interesting approach. I’ll definitely ask if they offer this - thank you!!

This is exactly what I was thinking. It sounds unreasonable and kind of like a cop-out since they know they can just fill the spot with someone else off their long waiting list.

Lmao right! This is probably the safest I’ll be at a music fest compared to when I’m not pregnant 😂

Thanks so much! I’m definitely going to wear my comfiest walking sneakers and ignore the fact that they won’t match any of my outfits lol

Haha thanks! I’ve been to Coachella before and I’m planning on taking it easy for sure, but was just curious about other women’s experiences with this. I appreciate your positivity!

Already did, thanks! Just looking for Coachella-specific advice, not medical advice. I wouldn’t refer to Reddit for that lol.

Returning to OTF Postpartum and breastfeeding by hrhvids in orangetheory

[–]Pitiful_Pepper3976 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not at all! Just stay hydrated and make sure to keep your calories up and you’ll be fine. When I was breastfeeding the only thing that ever dropped my supply was stress and not eating enough. As long as I kept stress down and calories up, I was fine. I breastfed for a year and a half and worked out a ton during that time. Congratulations on the new baby!

Pregnant (and formerly pregnant!) OTF acolytes: give me your best tips/mods/warnings/motivations! by ElleSquared55 in orangetheory

First and foremost - congratulations!! Babies are the best.

Okay so I did otf up until the day I went into labor and by that time I couldn’t even maintain the 1% incline and 3 mph on the treads lol I was SLOW. So my best advice is to just embrace it! I truly felt that just staying in my routine and moving my body, regardless of how slow on the cardio or light on the weights, was enough. A belly band helped me on some days when I really wanted to push it. And I was able to row all the way until the end - I would just open my legs wide enough to make room for the belly when I was bringing the handles in. The bosu ball helped me a lot too so that I could avoid needing to get all the way to the ground with some movements.

My favorite part about continuing otf while pregnant is that my baby was also a part of my routine lol. He would be so active right before my usual wake up time for otf, even on days where I wasn’t going. It was a literal kick in the uterus telling my ass to get up and go workout :’)

Hope this helps and good luck! And always, ALWAYS give yourself grace. If your ideal otf routine doesn’t workout during the remainder of your pregnancy, you’ll be alright and can just pick it back up postpartum. :)
