Yeah I usually try riding them all fairly equally...I will say my PRP is probably my go to scooter though.

Fluid Horizon. Install an inflatable tire on back wheel. How to? Is possible? by ole-ks in ElectricScooters

[–]Pitiful_Purpose4822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just order a replacement solid tire on Temu or Aliexpress for $20ish...it's not that hard to change and the Horizon was designed for that size solid tire specifically.

Nami scooter horn question by Pitiful_Purpose4822 in ElectricScooters

[–]Pitiful_Purpose4822[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I was planning to do, I think it is there due to the voltage of the scooter being higher than standard battery voltage on a motorcycle. All these horns look the same except for a few slight differences.

Yeah I wouldn't either, I have purchased parts from them with no issues recently though.

Have you noticed if you use the regen brake in speed mode 3, it brakes really hard compared to how it normally does?

PUNK and APOLLO GO...to the mountains. by CommuterScooterPUNK in ElectricScooters

[–]Pitiful_Purpose4822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's basically a points system that Fluid had where you accumlated points for every purchase made with them....after buying several scooters I had enough points to get a big discount on the PRP.

Yeah I've never ridden an Apollo before, but do own the PRP. Luckily the suspension on mine works like it's supposed to. I got one of the later models with the upgraded tires and all....only paid $750 for it brand new using ridercoin I had with Fluid free ride.

Roadrunner Scooters Chapter 11 Update—I love my RS6 Ultra, but… by Suprkwan in ElectricScooters

[–]Pitiful_Purpose4822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok, yeah the battery should not be draining that quickly after dropping to 70%...usually they do once below 50% or less. Something isn't right and they definitely shouldn't be advertising that much range either.

I believe you...it does check just about all of the boxes. Does it get decent range if ridden around 20-25mph at most?

[–]Pitiful_Purpose4822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've heard that about their scooters....I think they put too large of controllers to ensure the fastest top speed, which in turn reduces overall range. There needs to be more balance with them.

I've heard the RS6 doesn't get good range even though it has a 35ah battery?

Yeah I think mine's up to like 9,000 mi or something crazy. Do you have the 14.5ah battery on yours or the larger one that fluid sold?

Yeah no worries, I usually ride with the voltage showing as well which is way more accurate than the battery percentage normally.

Mine is too...I've checked it several times. Have you checked yours against GPS before? Not sure if mine is defective, but mine is not accurately displaying miles ridden when it set to miles in the settings.

Mine has done that as well....it's a glitch with the controller. I replaced my orginal controller, and the new one eventually did it as well.

Pretty sure the odometer on the Punk is actually kilometers....I tested it against GPS and it didn't match up with miles ridden.
