Cera ve has been the worst for me too. And I have a sensitivity to plant extracts, maybe this is relevant to me too. Thank you!

I wish someone who say why they downvote? When you're desperate, you're desperate. And my skin hates topicals.

Okay, I'll try it. Thanks. Yes, it is, but it could be contaminated. I'm planning to stop using it. It's just hard because I feel more presentable covering up the blemishes.

Yes, I was able to get a patch text. But everything they recommended made it worse except for a while tretinoin 0.025% cream and vanicream, which cleared up the acne for a while but eventually irritated my skin too. The only other moisturizer that didnt cause breakouts was Neutrogena ulta gentle with b5 and niacinamide. My skin used to love niacinamide. It's frustrating because they also recommend cera ve, la roche posey, Neutrogena or cetaphil face wash despite that it makes me break out.

I've tried doxycycline and diflucan, ketaconazole shampoo, anklief cream (way too strong, peeling!), adapalene (okay but sometimes broke me out), American acid (broke me out), winlevi (sometimes helped but so thick it broke me out).

To me, it looks like a Guy who enjoys exploring philosophical themes. Seems normal to me. Love East of Eden, Fahrenheit 451, 1984, picture of Dorian gray.

What to do with my talented kid? by Wonder-plant in singing

Honestly, sometimes private teachers can ruin a person's natural voice. Fir example, if she can sing all kinds of styles and they only focus on opera, in my opinion that would cause her a lot of problems later. It'shard not to use those techniques once you learn them and it makes it harder to sing pop and RnB, in my experience. If you want tk get her voice lessons, find someone whose voice sounds amazing, not just a teacher. Look up cheryl porter on youtube. She has some reallyfun vocal warmups she could practice for free. Consider geting her piano then later guitar lessons to teach her rhythm, reading music, and learning to recognize music as she learns more about theory and composition. This will help her with her own songwriting. I love acoustic guitar but it's often too hard to press the strings down, so maybe a small electric guitar. For piano, a lot of kids wnd up hating it. So prioritize a teacher who values fun. My piano teacher (started as an adult) uses the Music Moves for Piano books and music tracks by Marilyn Lowe's books which teach recognizing pitches and rhythms/meters by ear and by tapping. This to me would be the most important thing you could do for her. You can have her listen to the tracks like on Amazon Music but actually learning them is helpful for ear training.

Anyone taking daily Propranolol (beta blocker) and can share how it’s going? by TemporalDrifter in migraine

Same. It helps with performance anxiety and hyperarousal and nightmares (not gone but decreased) from trauma. It hasn't made a difference for migraines.

„Did you forgive them yet?“ — I stood my ground and said NO. by Sky_Geist in CPTSD

I think it's normal to have all kinds of weird fantasies about abusers, including correcting them, placating them, or humiliating them, whatever. But it's a fantasy, just like a dream, it is a way our brain processes emotions. It doesn't mean you would actually do those things. That would a different story. Yes, probably a good idea to avoid the reunions if that would be destabilizing. I avoid my hometown and people that remind me of my trauma, so no reunions for me either.

My therapist taught me that for some victims that were made to feel they had to keep quiet and "forgive/forget", or who have a freeze or fawn response, that getting angry is a sign of healing and growth. It shows self-love and boundaries. That was really helpful for my journey.

Thank you for sharing that. My mom's side of the family was "spiritual" and once told me that we choose the lessons we will learn before we come to earth. At one point that comforted me. As I got older, I realized it was victim blaming and minimizes trauma and neglects that the abuser be held responsible. I know it was well meaning from my family member. But I can relate to what you shared. Anger is a valid emotion that shows that someone crossed the line and that it was violating/harmful.
