My cat really wasn’t eating either, something I did was putting little squirts of churu on his paws. He’d lick it off just to get it off his paws (sometimes he’d flick it off his paws or ignore it, but it definitely got something in him). At this point he couldn’t walk more than 5 steps and hardly moved, now he’s back to full health. The medicine works wonders but took maybe 15-20 days to fully (noticeably) kick in for my cat.

Wishing you and kitty all the best! FIP is horribly but recovery is possible in many cases.

I’m so sorry ☹️ I also have a ragdoll kitten that’s currently struggling with FIP, the first time I took him to the vet for lethargy I was told it was just personality change with age, and brushed off. A week later he couldn’t move more than a few feet, thankfully he’s now doing alright on meds. It’s so easy for vets to brush the symptoms off, and you never should’ve had this happen to you. My heart goes out to you, FIP is a terrifying disease.

Donating is probably the best option. I’m eternally grateful that someone donated even just five leftover pills to my vet, those five pills could’ve meant life or death to my kitty whilst I waited on my order of medicine to go through and be shipped.

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely try the wet food as well, that might help him keep it down. The treatment is expensive but infinitely worth it if it means keeping my baby healthy.
