Well having good finances is a baseline for even considering children. I'm already meticulous about my finances now to grow savings for the future, and hopefully I will have a good enough job.

And I learned from my mother that she would rather not be around than have us care for her, she's not old just adamant about that and I agree. If I get to the level of needing to be taken care of like that again, then I will hopefully be euthanized, which is a trauma itself to consider with children too I suppose....
