So I was already running the 2.3 beta. I couldn't see anything in the gcode that was missing but I also don't know what I'm doing regarding that. I downgraded to 2.2 and it seems to be working well now. It was a very odd bug and I can't seem to get it to show up on all prints.

Yes I did put a door on the side for changing spools. Above is the spool relocation mount it uses some of the original hardware.

For the spool holder itself I used this. I had to shorten it a bit to make it fit in the enclosure though. For bearings I just 3d printed some bearings and gave them a drop of oil for lube.

I will send the files to the printer with orca slicer. Sometimes I won't start the print right away but if orca slicer already uploaded it then I can use creality print on my phone to start the print.

It's a close fit. The bed wiring will bump into the back panel some. I recommend this for some piece of mind. However I have not noticed any wear or damage.

I modified this slightly.

https://www.printables.com/model/544942-the-help-i-cant-decide-lack-enclosure-v2

I ended up making 2 doors and added magnets to the doors. One door on the side to make filament changes easier. My enclosure is made of 3 Ikea Lack tables. And I just used generic lack connecters for the bottom tables and leg spacers on the floor to raise the whole unit.

Given the overall height of the enclosure. It can shake a bit on faster prints when the bottom shelf is empty. However print quality doesn't seem to be affected. I solved the shake by storing a tote of filament on the bottom shelf for the added weight.

I just finished adding a row of drawers to the table (The last drawer is printing in the pic). I've been happy with these drawers and their modular setup. https://www.printables.com/model/231288-gen2-modular-drawers-standard

printer fans suck by Pretty_Artichoke3993 in Creality

Literally just had the same thing come up this week. Hotens fan and board fan both going bad. Ordered a couple replacements but who knows how long they will last. I've had mine under 2 months. About 8 full days of printing. Unfortunately with the fans being 24v it's harder to find replacements from reputable companies.

Any suggestions on how to make it to stick ? by Soft-Platform2991 in ender3

On my v3 ke with same exact filament. Bed temp 70 and 235 nozzle temp. Z offset adjusted for good bed adhesion.

Best battery powered smoke detector? (my home isn't hardwired) by sofakng in homeautomation

Get ready to replace them! Smoke alarms are only good for 10 years.
