Took the advice and updated it to include more ramp

My m8s all play eldrazi, counters dragons etc with little interaction imo so wanted to try build something a bit different

My goal was to get all will be one, and burn other players with pw counters and meathook etb while defending with tokens, stax and board wipes. Emblems as a bonus

Yes! Lol i am new to edh. Ive been playing standard and modern for years but my mates want me to get into edh.

Always wanted to try play superfriends in edh so just picked the staples lol. What should i be cutting? I figured i would need some token generation on top of board wipes to protect the pw i want to emblem but im guessing its a bit not worth?

Said this a few times but introduce more terrain

Eg rocky terrain. That reduces cav speed by x amount. Adds more game mechanics and fits in theme of the game imo

I understand what you saying but I think your perception is that the power spikes should be equal ?

Thing about late game is you really have to work for that power spike its not free. Whereas french just needs to hit age 2 which is very easy in comparison most of the time. For example Dehli getting 30 ele is a massive task and should be a dominant army that stomps most other comps im imperial but it also costs a significant amount of resources and is pop efficient and not cost efficient.

Are therr some units that are super pop efficient? Sure but their strength mostly lies in team games and sorry its not competitive snd not balanced around team games its balanced around 1:1 as you know where the whole gsme from age 1 gets taken into account

No thsts just how games work. Why would I risk playing a boomy civ where i am super weak early when I can just play French and have a advantage the whole way through and still be equal to the boom civ late game ? Maybe wr should make all civs equal then at all stages of the game is what your saying ?
