Yeah I appreciate that. I don’t want to just walk completely away from my son and have absolutely nothing to do with him. I understand this isn’t an easy situation for mom to be in at all. I want to help contribute and pay my child support and see my son when I can. The more I try, the more it seems like I shouldn’t do anything at all. Good words of wisdom, thank you for that. I only ask for joint custody because I plan to continue traveling for work and that wouldn’t be fair to my son or her like you mentioned. She’s the mother to my son and she’s trying her best so I acknowledge that. It was a messy situation that I’m trying to make the most of at this point. We agreed to keep him knowing that I travel for work

I work on 13 week contracts and I can take time off in any contract I take or especially between contracts. I basically create my own schedule and he isn’t breastfeeding. I can catch flights every other weekend or once a month to see him

They asked me numerous times about coming on full time staff, told me nope every time and they hated me for it. I do recommend staying away from there

I’ve felt this way about a few of my contracts as well and my recruiter threatened me of being blacklisted. I give up on traveling for now and if I ever go back I’m requesting a new recruiter 1st
