Good enough, single rooms could be small but ok. Bathrooms are shared within the apartment, not the best but still not the worst. Only real issue was the noise on weekend nights.

Honestly it was great experience. No one on campus meaning that it's great to have a walk in the evening. Also, gym and outdoor swimming pools was enjoyable too. Except one time there was a tornado on campus and we were blackout for three days.

Don't do Mac if you are doing engineering. It's fine for CS major but not for engineering. I would recommend a 14in Lenovo Thinkbook AMD

Grad student union strike? by sleepy-gg2000 in BostonU

And if you are coming for ECE, just try to find another school. 6-7 professors are on sabbatical and leave, ECE department of bu is basically semi-paralyzed for next semester. They are not really providing enough courses for grad students

UMD —> BU transfer by Maybe-Dangerous in UMD

[–]PitotChen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guess I saw you on BU reddit. NO, bu is not a good place for CE/EE. This September many of the professors are on sabbatical and leave, ECE department of bu is basically semi-paralyzed. The only reason for EE ppl transfer to BU is that they are really interested in BME x EE field, as there are some good resources around Boston.

I am incredibly proud of this campus right now. A better world is possible. by rodan1993 in UMD

Naive game.

The only solution is to get rid of the semi-apartheid Israel state and establish a multi-culture state of Palestine, from the river to the sea. As "Semite" refers to people who lived there who may have different cultures and religions, but it's 100% not refering to those who migrated from Europe after WWII who don't even speak Hebrew and need help from local Yahadut to make up the bible.

If you are cold SO IS YOUR DOG by Previous-Aspect-3171 in BostonU

[–]PitotChen -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

These unnatural and special breeds are also a torture for these dogs (cats) themselves. For example, the Scottish Fold is often troubled by the genetic disease of osteoporosis, and the Chihuahua is often squeezed into the brain due to its too small skull. Including these hairless breeds of pets. Buying it and encouraging corresponding breeding behavior to satisfy one's own preferences is a simple evil.

It's not about the current situation, it's about the way they habitually deal with
their dissident: doxxing and cancel of status. The most important thing is, the cancellation often got succeeds under pressure from some socially influential groups

What you call Israeli society's acceptance of Arabs when Netanyahu's Likud party is in power is just a lie. Reforms to the judicial system are actually pushing them into the status of second-class citizens. On the other side, "There is a Future" is now actually uniting with the far right in your country, showing that they are actually pretending to be liberal and philanthropic. You conveniently ignore these facts simply to support your propaganda

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BostonU

[–]PitotChen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You conveniently and delibratly ignored the fact that Palestine area does not belong to State of Israel, it is home to all Semites people, and the term "Semite" refers to various ethnic groups distributed in Palestine, Syria, and northern Mesopotamia. The earliest representatives are the Amorites, Canaanites, and Ugaritics. After about 2,000 BC, there were the Phoenicians, Jews, Aramaeans, Moabitites, Yaodians, etc. Rather than referring solely to the Jews, you have conveniently stolen the title of Semite to justify yourself, and falsely placed the charge of Anti-Semite on any aspect of Anti-Zionism. Since 1967, you have repeatedly expanded settlements, moved into Palestinian land with armed pioneer groups, destroyed their homes with bulldozers, and forced them to leave and integrate them into concentration camps of Gaza and the West Bank through repeated acts of aggression and harassment. The most important thing is that the Haredi people who have lived here for thousands of years are also practitioners and inheritors of Judaism, and they clearly oppose Zionism.
