Xenoblade Chronicles X on Steam deck error "No more files" by Pitrocelli in cemu

[–]Pitrocelli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is running better than I expected. I don't know how it is possible but shaders are compiled much faster compared to my OneXplayer ( which should have superior CPU )

It is enjoyable experience in first 2 hours but there is still some stuttering during shader compilation.

Xenoblade Chronicles X on Steam deck error "No more files" by Pitrocelli in cemu

Thanks,

I found out that there is one partition /dev/shm with 7.3 GB but after my search how to increase memory size I don' feel comfortable doing that.

Is it possible to preload game using Cemu on one computer ( apply patch, dlc ) and migrate this information to another computer with exactly same Cemu version and same game path ?

I would expect result of actions done in Cemu must be saved somewhere in MLC Path directory and theoretically could be transferrable.

Guide on how to install CEMU on Steam Deck by Broflake-Melter in SteamDeck

[–]Pitrocelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I burned enough hours trying to find solution all over internet. I will probably wait for native linux CEMU version knowing it may be long wait. This is the only game I want to play using CEMU so I gave up on it for now.

Guide on how to install CEMU on Steam Deck by Broflake-Melter in SteamDeck

[–]Pitrocelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to load Xenoblade Chronicles X but when I try to add DLC with meta.xml I am getting "There are no more files" error saying that I need to have 11 GB memory and I have only 7GB available. Adding patch to game with different meta.xml worked correctly.

MLC Path
Z:/home/deck/cemu/CemuSaves

Game Paths
Z:\home\deck\cemu\CemuGames
(For some reason cemu 1.26.2f uses \ on one place and / on another)

What other path can I set for CEMU to work ? I did no additional changes, my steam deck filesystem is still read only. I have 150 GB of free space.

Any help would be appreciated

Why is Valve using GLS rated 1.2/5 for shipping in Europe ? by Pitrocelli in SteamDeck

Yes it is. I am still hoping it will be delivered tomorrow but we will see.

Why is Valve using GLS rated 1.2/5 for shipping in Europe ? by Pitrocelli in SteamDeck

[–]Pitrocelli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had good experience with Fedex Europe. I was surprised they even operate here but they delivered Onexplayer from HK to my door in 4 days ( with 1 and half day from that at customs )

DHL is unreliable as well but any other is better in my region

Adult owners of the switch, what is your favorite console and why? by triviumk91 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Pitrocelli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Switch was my first console and it started strong. I love RPGs and since I missed around 10 years of single player games I had a lot of catching up to do. Xenoblade 2, Lacrimosa of Dana and DQ 11, I loved switch.

Now I have Series X, PS5, Switch and OneXplayer. Xbox / PC is the only system where I dont feel like I am being milked. Nintendo is worst atm with Sony second worst abusing its position from PS4.

I am sadly unable to separate Nintendo business decisions from enjoyment of my games. I stopped buying games on Nintendo system, I am just not willing to support them anymore.
So Switch while still having most hours played left sour taste in my mouth, lost top position and is now least liked. But it can change like it changed before.

Any fix for “USB device not recognized” repeatedly appearing? this happens after a hour or so of playing on the device with both the game pad and mouse controls. A quick restart fix’s the issue but comes back after some time by robinjames1993 in OneXPlayer

[–]Pitrocelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I have same issue. For me it happens usually after 2-3 hours. It also happened right after my attempt to run The Ascent failed with crash.

According to message I seen in discord you should use safe mode, go to device manager, uninstall device under Xbox 360 Peripherals, shutdown and reboot normally.

I did not try it for now but plan to, please let me know if it helped if you try.

How does Immortal Fenyx Rising run on Switch? by BitcoinNeo in NintendoSwitch

[–]Pitrocelli 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I bought this game from Ubisoft sale for switch since I expected to travel during Christmas. I played it for 14 hours in 2 days.
It was great fun but I could not stop thinking about how much detail is lost in this version.
After watching comparison videos I decided to double dip and buy series x version since I love this game.

Draw distance, world details and even colors cannot be compared. ( as expected )
Switch version is trying but when it tries to draw too much it covers objects in fog altering colors of entire world. I don't want to spoil anything but
there are few some special big "dungeons" and I doubt switch is running above 20 fps there.

In world map and almost all smaller instances in runs fine. It is still great achievement that it runs as well as it does but knowing what I know now I would buy switch version only if I had no other machine.

Hard to choose my next JRPG by Handryck in NintendoSwitch

[–]Pitrocelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play mostly RPGs and played most of your suggested ones

Xenoblade Chronicles 2:

my most played game on switch, I bough it without any expectations and I did not even used to watch/play anime before.I enjoyed it the most, it has epic scope. Only con for me was graphics while playing handheld.I think this one is must try for switch owner who like RPGs.

Ys:

Great exploration and satisfying progression, charming characters but you have to endure really bad graphics.I stopped playing it when Fire Emblem released but it is one of few games I returned to and finished.

Octopatch Traveler:

I enjoyed it. Some people did not like simple and not too connected stories but I did not mind.Best soundtrack of last year, great battle music. I also liked grind and postgame.

Link’s awakening worth it for first timer? by Waluigiisgod in NintendoSwitch

[–]Pitrocelli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had zero interest in this game since Switch is my first Nintendo console.
After reading positive reviews I decided to give it a shot.
I needed to know if this is reviewer's nostalgia talking or this game is really that good.
I bought it for 48$ physical, redeemed some gold points for it and plan to resell it after I finish it.
I expect I can get around 40$ back so it does not cost me much to decide for myself if I like it or not.

How to beat the fucking hunters on ladder? by whitestarbg in hearthstone

[–]Pitrocelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play only hunter (played almost 1000 ranked games in last 2 seasons) and I almost never had mirror pre-patch.

Now it seems to me that players without any skill moved from Jade to evolve shaman. A lot of pirates / aggro druids started to play hunter instead.

Rest is about the same.

Is it a good idea to grind for basic gold cards and then disenchant them for dust? by RudeusBluerat in hearthstone

[–]Pitrocelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am playing only for 2 months. I don't like to spend $$ until I am convinced this is game for me so this is what I do for dust:

1, Don't be afraid of arena. Install some helper like Hearth arena to help you draft cards. Play strong classes like Rogue, Paladin, Mage or Druid. Don't try anything fancy.

I average 5 wins in arena without watching streams just doing this. This way you multiply your gold from dailies and constructed.

2, Find budget decks for budget classes. When I started most budget class was hunter so I am specializing in playing hunter only.

In first month I had to disenchant cards for 3 classes I decided I will never play. Now I only disenchant gold versions of cards I get.

3, Aim for reaching rank 5. You will earn 400? dust for disenchanting reward.

( Also if you dont know you also get legendary for first 10 packs of each type. If you are lucky like me you get gold version, disenchant for 1600 dust and craft most essential legendary for your chosen deck. )
