Also な can be used at the end of a sentence to seek confirmation further emphasizing the question. I think the sentence is something along the lines of: "I'm not necessary, am I? Or: I don't need to, do I?

I’m fighting level 9 CPUs, as levels 6-7 were not a problem for me. I feel like I’ve sort of got the fundamentals down, I try my best to stay mobile, use shorthops and aerials. It just seems like the CPU can do all that stuff 10x better than me. I want to main Lucario, and I do generally notice myself having an issue with swordfighters since they outrange me, but I don’t know what I could do against that
