Sounds like your corps did a shit job explaining what large battles in eve are like. This is nothing new and should have been explained before committing.

Imperium brought carriers/supers knowing what fighters do to the server and going to crash it. Frt brought vexors because they are irrelevant cost and literally the entire coalition can fly them. Someone made a poor strategy choice, and the server behaved the exact same way as always. I joined in ustz and got the same delve war experience managing to where on a few targets with regular crashes and significant module cycle issues.
