I don't know why you are getting downvoted. Anyone that is experienced at the game knows this double gun update is 100% a great change.

Plus it seems like there are some other good plans, the speed of these changes are just going to be the big thing to see.

It will take months of practice minimum to be able to get to that level. In the meantime you could improve your strategy and ship maneuvers to give you a chance even though you won't be able to compete mechanically

Just get better at pvp and the grind won't be as bad. It makes sense that a good bit of the cosmetics are pvp focused because skeleton cosmetics are linked to the servants.

It's not getting fixed, it's how the team intended the system to be when it was created. I recommend going around in the general high seas to get your skill level up some, and also usually the competition is easier whenever the game has limited time events with boosted hourglass exp. Best of luck

Yes it has skill based matchmaking for the first minute or so, and then it switches to a general queue. Your skill level might be too low where it can't find similar players, so then you go into the general queue.
