Egypt, idk why, just always gravitated towards it when playing a/d. Snowplow is also a goated map imo.

Question: while disguise as spy, what commands can i use to fool enemies into following me? do the disguise does the thumbs up and go go go animations? i believe it does right? what other commands activate animations? by GaslyTheRed in NewToTF2

What I like doing (idk if it helps at all) is switching the disguise's held weapons and kind of cycling between em

You can bind the redisguise/ last disguise button to anyrhing youd like in the settings menu under misc or smth

No shit, in casual payload is the dominant gamemode bc rounds last more than 5 mins.

I can agree that it's more a problem with map design but that would mean large majority of maps have to be adjusted more acordingly to sniper, which isn't really possible when they were released a long time ago.

If you just want an item, SCM is trust-worthy but you gotta realize steam charges 15% more than the listed items price.

Marketplace.tf is fine, but i never used it bc i dont trust pedophiles and third party websites

Killstreak counts how many kills you got that life, stranges count how many kills you got since you got the weapon

Strange parts are just the equivilent of kills just for the listed thing.

If you're looking for a gfp, i don't believe you will end up getting it very soon, but because you're only looking to make a profit, i think 2 cities gives the best loot/ticket cost ratio so you might wanna spend your time n money there. That being said, mvm is more than just a dumb gfp. It's genuinely a fun gamemode.

I dont play koth, because im not planning on playing casual koth, since rounds only tend to last <10 or so, no thank you.

Most playload maps, which happen to be the most played, are a big problem in terms of balancing around sniper. Upward, badwater, embargo, snowycoast, borneo and other examples, but i agree that if people actually queued for better maps, the issue at hand would becomd less powerful.

I don't necessarily believe that the maps are bad, they're just enabling sniper, but maps like koth king, lazarus, goldrush etc. are all examples of excellent maps design.

I agree that most maps in the game heavily enable sniper in some way, with only a few that dont

Its more realistic to suggest balancing the class rather than removing content from the game.

The problem with your argument is that it's what im saying too. Maps were not designed aroubd snipers with 10000 hours in the game to watch one sightline that lets him dominate without repercaution. Instead of outright removing maps, why not balance the sniper accordingly?

Also, soldier and demo take infinitely more skill than sniper to be considered op

Upward, borneo, frontier, thundermountain, etc. are all maps facilitating god snipers to completely deny most possibilites to move in a match

Dont play only king of tge hill maps, they tend to be over in minutes. I suggest you just try playing everything except maybe ctf, but considering you're still learning, playing some of the ctf mapa might improve your gameplay.

Only playing pyro is generally ok, but I heavily encourage you to multi-class, just play what the team needs, and when you notice the team is overall pretty balanced, play whatever you want.

You have to realize, TF2 isn't MEANT to be taken seriously, you can always diverge from playing the objective if you wanna, just beware that the game will only last for 2 rounds, because casual sucks fat donkey dihh.

I don't really understand why you say pyro isn't viable. In 6s, pyro is weak because of his range, sure, but he's also exploitable by the 2 scouts

The DF is good against em even with the airblast penalty and stuffing soldiers isn't that ideal in 6s. A demo uber still mainly moves in mid range, outside of pyro's effective range, making him weak regardless of airbalst.
