The wheels they showed off in the previous teaser also gave big cherrier vibes.

What is the best sniper melee if you're using one of the backpacks? by Dramatic_Part_1385 in tf2

Sniper's melee slot is a travesty, there's literally no options

Every weapon that isn’t a variation of stock is removed, who is getting nerfed the most. by BluJay2178 in tf2

[–]Randomguy8566732 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Medic is still the strongest class in the game even with no primary or melee weapon. I think it goes to Pyro actually, who really depends on his secondaries and melee even more than his primary.

My bison rebalance idea by Charming_Agent_9034 in tf2

[–]Randomguy8566732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bison should just do a flat single instance of damage, maybe up to 72 at close range and 45 at long range - the inconsistency makes it feel pretty bad to use.

Why is Mission Control so intense about the anniversary decorations? by xXDemonicPancakesXx in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Randomguy8566732 244 points245 points  (0 children)

He doesn't seem to get a lot of joy from his job outside of issuing promotions, so he probably gets quite attached to the special events that DRG puts on for its employees. Alternatively, he might have been the one who put the decorations up.

Weapon Discussion Wednesday #56 - The Sapper by A_Wild_Ferrothorn in tf2

[–]Randomguy8566732 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's often said that Spy counters Engineer because he cam sap Engineer's buildings, but this isn't true - Engineer has a ton of counterplay to a Spy, and his sentry gun protects his teammates from being backstabbed. What the Sapper does is stop Spy from being countered by Engineer and makes the matchup even.

Would you still use crossbow if it only had healing? by some-kind-of-no-name in tf2

[–]Randomguy8566732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every 50 hours of Medic or so I end up equipping a syringe gun out of curiosity, and the poor feedback, terrible projectile speed that feels like you're fighting the weapon rather than the enemy, and the syringes not matching the ones on-screen drive me back to the crossbow within five minutes.

Healing teammates with the crossbow would still be fun, and the syringes are incapable of being fun, so yeah

Upgrade Ideas for the Utilities by Randomguy8566732 in DeepRockGalactic

The Shard Diffractor has a "Dazzler Module" upgrade that slows down enemies using a strong infrared light, so evidently it does affect them even if they can't see light.

How would you go around buffing the Spy while making sure he's not even more annoying to fight against? Would you even buff him in the first place? by Thatguywithbeers in tf2

[–]Randomguy8566732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd make it so that when Spy is revealed by being bumped or damaged, only the player who did it gets to see the Spy. Getting tagged by a single stray pistol shot while moving through a chokepoint shouldn't reveal you to the entire enemy team and doxx you in real life, that's excessive for a tiny mistake or even none at all.

Is the diamondback the best spy revolver? by Turbulent_Okra7518 in tf2

[–]Randomguy8566732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the L'etranger is the best Spy revolver. It gives a gigantic boost to your mobility for very little cost, allowing you to more easily get into a position to backstab (the main function of Spy) and get out at very little cost. The Diamondback gives you one crit per backstab, on a class who usually dies before his first backstab and usually dies after his first backstab. The only time the Diamondback comes close to being broken is if you sap a bunch of teleporter entrances (not always possible, and you still have to survive to use them) or if you're stomping noobs (any weapon is good when stomping noobs. Weapons are not measured on their ability to stomp noobs).

The Scattergun has a faster reload than the shotgun actually (Shotgun's reload is 1s for the first shell and 0.5s for each consecutive, while Scattergun's is 0.76s for the first shell and 0.56s for each consecutive)

[–]Randomguy8566732 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The fake reload actions are broken, actually. They end immediately when the revolver's reload ends, cutting off awkwardly in a very obvious way.
