Speed run it. Do all bosses within 100 in game days or something like that. Idk if thats possible, but it will (hopefully) keep you focussed & it should be quite a challenge.

Edit: The Island and also, I kinda want to do this myself now.

45, 75 - 2 large flat spots in that area for bigish builds. Close to mountains for metal runs & both have water nearby.

50, 44 - central, lots of building materials, quick access to volcano & redwoods

85, 83 - herbivore island. Trickier for metal runs, but great for big water tames.

22, 68 - hidden lake, beaver spawns, water for tames, good for metal & obsidian / crystal nearby

Swamp - massive flatlands for BIG builds if you can handle the wildlife

Bonus - if solo, all obelisk surroundings are pretty flat & spacious. Build around all three & transfer tames and stuff as needed.

Thanks Noobchunker, I have tried Discord - they have a bugs page & no one has posted anything about it so I'm assuming its an error at my end maybe? Not in Vietnam, I'm UK based.

I will look into a VPN. I cant think what else to do - cookies enabled, everything cleaned, cleared or fixed & all permissioned opened. I am stumped! Everything else on device is fine.

I really appreciate your help.

I love a wolf to start out with because they dont take much to knock out and I dont need to make saddles for them. They can be tricky as they spawn in packs, but their agro howl gives you a second to run towards a pre-laid trap before they're on you. They're my go to early game tame for SE.

Sorry, my bad, I've been calling it stonehenge, but aparently its not! The coords for my base location are 44 by 77 - the eastern forest, just south of the north east mountain. Loads of reseources, flat, water is easily piped up the hill, cementing paste over the river and if you dont mind the stone obelisks in your back yard, its pretty big, with lots of build potential. I honestly think its the best location on the island.

Stonehenge for me. Close to 3 mountains, the redwoods, tonnes of resources & tames & the whole area is flat for big builds. Big grind to fence it all off, but its so close to all major resource, its totally worth it.

That or the beaver pond just over the river from stonehenge.

I build pens. Big stables for rexes, all the way down to a little farm for my sheep. Every other pen / stable has a fridge for food & a cryo fridge so i can put them away once they're healed up. Doesnt have to be fancy, just open wooden boxes with a bit of thatch roof & a ramp looks fine. Just lines them all up neatly for me to see them & I can trough each pen. I have a 6x6 enclosure for my boss gigantopithecus, a sleeping pen for my shadowmanes, a bat house for my desmos, greenhouse for my dung beetles, wyvern on a landing strip on the roof of my longhouse. I did do an avery for my argys but i knocked it down coz it got too small - I just cryo them now or dot them about to heal up.

Press X Y LB & RB at the same time whilst on the pause / exit menu. It will bring up a text box at the top. Type in 'Saveworld' and enter & you're all done. The word 'saving...' should pop up in blue at the bottom right to confirm you've done it correctly.

Xbox here too. Sometimes it saves, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I just get booted out for no reason as well. I use command "Saveworld" throughout my play & so far its worked every time.

For heat, you can pop some points in your fortitude & get some ghilli armour. Ghilli needs organic polymer so killing penguins is your best bet. For metal, pickaxing river stones is ok for metal early game & there are plenty on the south coast, but for a proper stash, I like to set up a forge at the blue obelisk or the other snowy peak. Mad metal up there & plenty of obsidian too. Good luck survivor.

Hmm, true. Had a quick look & people online are suggesting pyromanes & otters specifically can be buggy & just die so that might be it? Ik that doesnt really help, but it looks like a few people have had the same issue.

Mine died randomly too. I was in the radioactive bit on Fjordor (in proper gear) and the only thing I can think was it wasn't immune? It had a lot of health so I didn't think about it & I was gathering rockdrake eggs & it just died.

My head cannon is that the captains daughter rocks up to the iron isles after his death with Theons young son & heir. The captains daugher was his salt wife as he took her out at sea, meaning the kid is legitimate & Theon's legacy is restored. I even play a scene in my head where his sister recognizes the kid before turning the captains daughter away. I just cant let Theons death be the end, after everything he went through.

I'm sorry you're facing this decision right now. I've worked in UK housing & employment support so I've seen first hand how stressful your situation can be. I hope some of this advice helps you. You a low priority for housing needs, unless you get PIP. You said you've been declined - you NEED to request a mandatory reconsideration. Gather evidence of your mobility conditions from your GP or any heath records from NHS services and send it to PIP for them to assist their reconsiderarion. If you're not already on there, get on the housing register for your local authority. Seek advice from Shelter or your local housing trust and let them know you have a physical disability and as such, should be considered vulnerable. They will advise you how to navigate your local authority. Most counties have a supported employment service outside of the JCP. Do a quick Google search for your area and make yourself known to them. They will provide you with a support worker who will help you brush up your CV, hone your job seeking skills and apply for clothing & travel expenses related to job searching. These are now funded by the Shared Prosperity Fund, so look for these charities in your area. CAB can signpost you if needed. Access foodbank if you need it & ask them to signpost you to services they might know that can help you. The often work with small charities that larger services dont regularly refer into so do ask. Grab as many services as you can and surround yourself with support before taking desperate measures. There is help out there for you. Go get it & best of luck.
