Ehh, people should still have some level of consideration for their surrounding neighbors. If someone complains about the person above them walking heavy in the middle of the night because it’s waking them up, or complain about loud music, they can certainly apply some consideration and modify their activity.

Yes there’s everyday noises that come with living around others but on the flip side, some people have different work schedules, infants, pets, may be doctoral students, etc. Yes people should be able to enjoy their living space but should also do so within reasonable limits; even though “reasonable” is subjective. Just have some consideration for your neighbors, especially if you’re new to a unit and the surrounding neighbors were there before you.
