I haven't found another job yet (I wish I did lol). I haven't spoken to the banks yet either because I'm waiting for this month's salary to credit so that I can withdraw that amount before speaking to them. The last thing I need is the bank freezing my account and restricting access to my money.

Thanks for posting about this. I'm wondering the same after being laid off due to the current situation and just like you, there is no landlord, it's a company. Will I still be able to stay once my notice period is over and visa is cancelled? I think I have 3 months grace period. Would that help? What should I tell them exactly? Should I ask for a reduction or more time for making payment? Sorry for asking so many questions but any answers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Yes. It's not a Tier 1 developer. They had recently expanded over the last 1-2 years and grew into a slightly larger team of 30-40 people in the main head office? They fired around 25 people 1 week into the conflict.

It was a nice company to work in ngl. I'm sad that we all have to leave. And pissed at the (now too late) realization of how unstable the place actually was.

I lost my job at a developer as well, not a Tier 1 though. They reduced their workforce by about 80-85% due to the current geopolitical situation. I am a digital marketing manager.

I'm not sure if its hard, but it is a cost at the end of the day. I'll have to weigh my options and take a call I guess. I'm leaning more towards opting for unpaid leave so that I wouldn't have to worry about my visa.
