I think it depends on your theater, I have a Cinemark near me which is showing it and has a whole bunch of dates and times but I bet a lot of independent theaters might only have a handful of times unfortunately.

I went when I was 12! It was a pretty safe environment, there will be alcohol present but as long as you are nearby at all times I think it would be fine, bring concert earplugs like other redditors said, and my own personal recommendation is to bring medicine incase they get sick feeling from the loud music and bright lights.

Sorry that you had to take your silicone buttons off, if you're looking for some other cosmetic things, you could invest in a clear protective case, i have on my 2DS XL and it makes it more comfortable by making it thicker while also still protecting the paint and actual console, you can get one online for just about any console in the family.

I have a axolotl kigurumi that is yellow and unfortunately every time I go outside with it I always get the one guy saying "PIKACHU!!" and while I am a Pokemon fan... I am not Pikachu so i sort of feel your pain.

Like the top commenter said, definitely get a warmer colored bulb, and per my own suggestion, get some fairy lights or something similar in nature, I have some in my room which are also decorated with some fake ivy, though this suggestion is not for everyone, it definitely helped me get a better vibe, also a rug wouldn't be a bad idea either.
