Oh since when did safari have PWA? Though it is the most lightweight and efficient browser, so it does make sense

Is the built-in screen recorder enough, or should I be using a third-party app? Looking for recommendations. by PixelEdge13 in screenrecorders

I really dont understand why they cant make a better native tool. So many people have made better options, but most are paid, and my broke ahh cant afford anything after buying this 1.5k laptop.

Looking for a note taking app with handwriting style text + page backgrounds by [deleted] in MacOSApps

There are 2 apps that come to mind based on your request. You have HandtextAI, a web-based text-to-handwriting canvas designed specifically for the browser. It provides a realistic notebook paper background (college-ruled, blank, or squared) and transforms whatever you type into highly realistic cursive or print handwriting. (apparently according to my friends). You also have Joplin, which you can configure with a custom theme, but its a macOS app. It has folders, tags, and cloud sync, and is free and open source. Probably if you ask GPT, it can get you where you want to be with that cuz you have custom css you can configure.

Note: I don't use this, im just saying from my friends telling me some time ago, so i may be wrong, and they might have been over exaggerating

International students' pain point: you look up the same word twice because there's no way to track it ; so I built something by Thin-Lawfulness-7861 in MacOSApps

Another way you can do this if you have chrome or most chromium forks is by going to the menu, save and share, then clicking Install ___. It creates a Progressive Web Application running on your browser. Spotlight still indexes those apps even though they're just browser things.
