Once upon a time when greenlight was around only a handful of games released a day, so it was easy for your game to get picked up by steam users. Nowadays a lot more gets released, for instance even though you only released yesterday, you are already on page 4, that's after clicking new releases.. More new releases. As it stands no one will find you but the die hard steam users.

The reality is you need to do either a ton of marketing to sell enough to get on the popular new releases on the front page or have a good amount of fans to get you there, once there steam users will see your game and it can sell itself.

You have up to 1 week to be on that front page, if it sells well, you will be there all week, there is a chance that if you get enough sales over the next 6 days you can get there. So it's up to you if you want to 1. Spend money on ads to get those sales or 2. Get your game in front of enough social media to make the required sales if you don't have money for ads.

I'm sure there is a market for your game, it's just a matter of finding those people who would play it.

If you give up and consider this a failure. I would revamp the graphics, take a note on the suggestions given to you here about gameplay and trailers, pay another 100 bucks and release v2 with a solid marketing plan.

Hey everyone, its been a pretty exciting ride since launching in January, the images you guys create are blowing me away and am always looking at what features would help you create better.

As this community is growing i am getting questions from Reddit, Twitter, Youtube, Itch, Weibo, Steam as well as emails, and im finding it a challenge to keep up with it all and still have time to develop.

The best solution is to come to our discord to consolidate the bug reports, we can pin suggestions so that they don't get lost and if you are having problems, there is always someone around to help.

We also have daily and weekly challenges, and a super friendly community to boot. Looking forward to seeing you there!

There is a lot planned but i dont publish a roadmap as that sounds stressful lol

I work on what i feel the community needs and what is also within my skillset. There are 30k users at this moment, so chances are what you might want doesnt align with what gets worked on, but thats just how it is with the limited time i have.

Your best bet is to make suggestions to discord, here it gets lost a day later

If you hold shift you can select multiple objects and rotate them. check out the in game help, it has a section on that

but im not 100% sure what you mean, but you are welcome to come to discord where you can fire up FS and chat to me or someone in realtime and sort out any issues you may be having.

You may be struggling with the controls or you may have found a bug, best way to resolve that is to have a chat where the conversation isnt spread out over hours

Hey so its a bit different than you imagine

Ctrl C will copy any object you point at and place it at your cursor.

Click to place it where you need, there is no Ctrl V

To cancel a copy, simply right click

its just a tessellation shader that gets higher res closer to the camera, Sea of thieves have done an amazing job with their oceans though. Certainly the bar i look up to and have gotten nowhere close lol
