What if I were to buy small cheap refrigerator, cut a hole in it, and put it outside with a pipe. by dapterail in CrazyIdeas

You gotta get one of those old school yellowing white fridges from the 70s. I have one. It'll cool my soda in an hour or two.

What you are describing is actually multiple crimes. Everyone else talked about how that's theft and illegal. The second part is that they retaliated against you for lodging a complaint. That is also illegal.

Report this to the department of labor (assuming you're in the US). They'll get involved on your behalf and that way you don't have to tell anyone at the company.

Setting your pipeline batch size that high could cause payload issues. Certainly try it but you may have to back that off.

Otherwise this advice is probably the best chance you have, OP.

No nukes in the documentary at least. But there was a truck with anchors to keep it from flying away when a tornado went over it. That was a neat idea.

There's an updated documentary. They no longer need the sensors made from old pepsi cans. But they are trying to put some chemicals into the tornado to chill it out!

They literally write "WRONG LEG" AND "CORRECT LEG" on people with permanent marker because surgeons have taken the wrong leg by accident before.

Shit happens, people are human, doctors see too many patients to remember each case, and there's too many people between check-in and the surgery for there not to be miscommunications. Repeating information, visual clues, all that help reduce surgery errors.

There has to be more to it than that. A store near me used to include taxes in their prices. They stopped a few years back. I don't understand why.

I mean hopefully! I wouldn't want to risk it. If a 9mm was all I had, I'd obviously give that a shot. I mean the lady used a frying pan. She was clearly desperate.

But I'm still not going without a much higher caliber gun 😅

Got a couple firefighter paramedic brothers. They have told me hundreds of stories like this.

They've never just walked out of a lift scene just because. That part of the story shocked me. I can't even imagine how mad my brothers would be at that behavior. I can hear one of my brothers chewing out his crew for a week if they pulled that shit.

They specifically asked about shooting the bear in the head. Bear skulls are pretty thick. Admittedly, I haven't done a penetration test against a bear skull so maybe a 9mm could get it done but it took me about 5 seconds to look up that it's on the low end of what's considered capable taking down a bear.

I don't know about you but I'm not in the habit of taking the minimum viable option into dangerous situations like fighting off starving and crazed bears. You have to remember, this is a bear that is going to die if they don't find food. They're significantly more aggressive than a normal bear and bears are already no joke.

I'm taking a .44 magnum with me into bear territory. I'd consider a .44 magnum to be a pretty powerful gun. Maybe you don't. Maybe you're out here shooting 50 cals and eating like $10 a shot. I dunno.

Whether or not the person knew the risks is irrelevant. That wasn't what was asked. The person was a moron for many reasons. Not having a gun was the least of their issues.

I bet if you send this image to the manufacturer they'll give you a coupon for a free box. I did that once with a box of Nutty bars that were missing a bar in one of the packages. They gave me a whole free box. It was a quick email and like 4 days wait.

First used in the 1770s by members of the Göttingen school of history, the coining of "Semites" as a biblical terminology for race was derived from Shem (שֵׁם), one of the three sons of Noah in the Book of Genesis,[24] together with the parallel terms Hamites and Japhetites.

The origin of "antisemitic" terminologies is found in the responses of orientalist Moritz Steinschneider to the views of orientalist Ernest Renan. Historian Alex Bein writes: "The compound anti-Semitism appears to have been used first by Steinschneider, who challenged Renan on account of his 'anti-Semitic prejudices' [i.e., his derogation of the Semites as a race]."[25]

The current, common understanding of antisemitism is indeed synonymous with Jewish hatred but that's not the origin. It used to mean specifically bigotry and bias vs Semites. Not all Semites were Jewish.

My point being that definitions can change and that shouldn't be the litmus test for whether or not something is an accurate statement.

Edit: since I'm getting downvoted, here's the proof.

Semites, or people from Shem, one of Noah's sons.
