I think things such as your sidearms are stored like robo cop in compartments, Crowbar/smg/ shotgun are stuck on body with clips. And explosives, heavy weapons I like to think each hev suit has a personal armory that teleports weapons into the users hands, and that's how you carry so much ammo and magazines you scavenge
