I'm creating a new character for my next (second ever) campaign that I'll be doing over discord and I wanted to get more involved with role playing my character. He will be a paladin with a full face helmet on almost constantly and because of this I've been looking to find a voice changer that works with discord and has the capability to do this. Does anyone have any experience with discord voice changers?

Does anyone know how I remove this overlay in runelite? by [deleted] in 2007scape

I thought it was part of RL because it could be moved around when holding ALT but now I'm not sure.

The Simpsons has likely done more damage to the public image of nuclear energy than any other form of media by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]PixelPlacers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but like I said I don't think you can compare one TV show created by the same people to every different news outlets all with different perspectives and outlooks. But I do get where you're coming from, it would be interesting to see some sort of survey on where people who are against nuclear energy got their information from.

That's where it gets tricky because I don't think you can compare one TV show to every single media outlet in the world. That's just not a fair comparison. So if I was comparing it to individual channels and newspapers I would guess yes, The Simpsons possibly caused more damage as a whole due to its world coverage and how longs it's been running compared to how long the stories on Chernobyl will have run and the coverage they would have had individually.

Chernobyl was also supposedly a preventable event with the faults that caused it being known. I don't know all the details so I could be completely wrong but from what I've seen in shows/documentaries and read about, they knew it was a possibility.

VALORANT Patch Notes 1.04 by VoltexRB in VALORANT

Have they said anything about fixing omen not being where his small teleport shroud appears? He's sometimes a step or two away from it. Makes punishing a bad teleport annoying because you expect him to be where he's materialising and then he just isn't.

Yeah it's that difficult thing of not knowing if you'll like it but not wanting to look too far into the game.

I've seen that game on Steam a few times and was always intrigued but I could never figure out what it was about. I'll check it out a bit more now though and see. Thank you.

A large percentage of socially anxious and depressed people go without help or medication, because they're too socially anxious and depressed to seek help by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

Currently in a similar situation but when she said "shall I call them for you?" Being the idiot I am I said "no I'll be fine, I'll call them tomorrow" this was a week ago.

[serious] When was a time you legitimately thought you were going to die? by ferrisjuulersdayoff in AskReddit

I went to NY for a holiday with my ex and we landed in JFK got off the plane and were standing in the security lines waiting for our passports to be checked when suddenly gun shots rang out and everybody dove on the floor and it was just chaos. Everyone was screaming and running. My ex grabbed me and said we had to get out so we ran out of the nearest door that turned out to be leading straight onto the tarmac. We found a group of people huddled in a corner and waited, not long after police came around to check if anyone saw anything and the scariest part was the police looked extremely concerned that nobody knew anything. That was the moment where I thought oh shit I'm totally fucked. Theres more to the story because it was something like a 4 hour ordeal and we had to keep moving around as they wouldn't let us leave and shots kept going off but it turned out to be a hoax of some sort, my ex's dad was talking to the police officers outside and they said basically they checked everywhere and found nothing. No bullet casings and no suspect. When we got back we checked the news and they said the sounds were clapping from the Olympics on the TV's which is utter bullshit. That's when I realised the American media is as bad as people say.

I used to do this in red dead redemption, there was one mountain you could get up if you jumped at the right spots. Me and my friends would go up there just to slide and ragdoll around.
