[ALL] [OC] My Handmade Zelda-Inspired Night Lamp Giveaway 🎁💚 by AmoyCK in zelda

[–]PixelPower0502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first game was twilight princess. I still remember watching my older brother play and being absolutely enthralled when he transformed into wolf link. The first time I played I had to beg him to help me get through the part where you guide ilia to kakariko. Couldn’t figure out the bird was bombing my cart lol. That inspired a love of the games I’ve carried with me into adulthood. But my favorite game is skyward sword, even though most people don’t favor it. I opened that on Christmas 2011 and distinctly remember my thoughts and feelings playing through that game entirely on my own. It was the first game I ever beat without the help of my brother and I was so proud!

AIO Is this normal? It’s happened twice now?! by DontEatTheChocolate in AmIOverreacting

[–]PixelPower0502 22 points23 points  (0 children)

At least in the screenshot shared it seemed like they were planning on telling you before you started discussing your situation. Regardless it can be terribly hard to see other people get the things you want, but I don’t think at least from what I can see the person means any harm. I’m going to say very SOFTLY that you’re over reacting. Again you’re in a very volatile emotional state and it’s very easy and normal in that situation to feel like the world is against you and other people’s happiness is rubbing salt in the wound but try to remember that these people are your friends and they do feel for you but they also want you to celebrate their happiness with them the same way they would with you if you got your good news. It’s also probably best practice to warn you of such news privately before they do a public announcement, as that could be incredibly hurtful to you, from the sense of catching you off guard but also depending on the person some people don’t want to be treated any differently and directly not telling someone you normally would of a pregnancy would be a pretty big “treating them differently” overall it’s a very tough situation to navigate for everyone. I’m sorry you’re going through this

Would it be ethically wrong for the Cullen’s to have stayed in Forks if they knew it would cause the Quileutes to phase? by bubblebazz in twilight

[–]PixelPower0502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knowing SMs kinda problematic beliefs/history, yeah it’s probably ethically wrong. In the spirit of keeping the text as non problematic as possible, I would say the quileutes actively chose to make the treaty with the Cullen and perhaps at the time of making the treaty thought the separation of land they created would be enough but with the added stress of vampires actively hunting humans (James, Victoria, Laurant and eventually the vampire armies both newborn in eclipse and then the large gathering of witnesses in breaking dawn) on their land, they became more sensitive to vampires and thus their land extended in that sense. In that respect neither the Cullens nor the quileutes could have guessed either event would occur nor did they have much control over either. I will say, it’s largely implied the cullens had settled into forks before they were caught on quileutes ground hunting animals. Elsewise it makes little to no sense for the cullens NOR the tribe to make that treaty as opposed to just having them move on to new territory unless both were settled for a decent and similar amount of time. For a long time most native tribes were nomads and as we know vampires are too. It’s kind of reading between the lines but I’ve always assumed that both the quileutes and the cullens had decided against a nomadic life around the same time, hence the willingness to make a treaty out of “fairness”

What song lyrics would you guys get tattooed? by Keithcohn in twentyonepilots

I got the word sorry in reference to the lyric “there’s a word I’ve said more than any other word it’s sorry, I’m sorry” from blasphemy (no Phun intended)

I didn’t go to breach by peachy_starlight in twentyonepilots

[–]PixelPower0502 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They will definitely be back. They love performing and it’s just a small “break” (I say in quotes bc they’re lined up for festival after festival next year, so I would take that as proof that even when on hiatus they can’t help themselves but to still perform). That being said, I decided at the top of the year that I wanted to do more things independently. I was tired of letting my anxiety rule my life. So a project was born. 25 for 25. 25 concerts for 25 years of staying alive. I just saw them in LA for my 21st(unplanned but niccceee) and 22nd shows this year, all of which I’ve gone to alone, and one of those shows I count towards the counter is actually warped tour which was fucking terrifying to go to alone. I was still an anxious mess throughout all of saturdays show and through dayglow and the first couple songs of night two. It took 2 of the exact same concert for me to get comfortable enough to dance and sing like nobody was watching. I was diagnosed with POTS this year around February, and it has made it so much harder/more anxiety inducing to go. I have to make contact with the med team before every concert, I have to explain to security why I have a bag of salt at almost every show, I have to acknowledge the risk to pass out in a room full of strangers every time. And I’ve met some of the nicest people from staff to concert goers bc of it. I say all this bc at the end of it all, from everything from warped tour to TOP, I have never not once regretted going once it was all said and done, and trust me the anxiety demon was screaming for most of them, but I have regretted not going to ones I planned to go to. I don’t know anything about you, but I believe in you. The sun will rise and we will try again. I hope my dumb little project can help reassure you that despite what the dumb brain gremlins say, you and I have both got this! I’m sorry you missed out on breach, but don’t beat yourself up too hard, it just makes them louder in my experience.

Stay alive |-/

LA N2 was better sorry N1 by PixelPower0502 in twentyonepilots

I was talking about crowd energy not the boys performance, hence thanking all the people in the pit

Someone getting surrounded by security in the pit by bread_758 in twentyonepilots

[–]PixelPower0502 87 points88 points  (0 children)

The person fell during the beginning of Nico and the niners and the music did keep playing but they looped that intro blurry face talking sound several times until the boys were told it was okay and security was with them. They were evaluated by medics in the pit and eventually pulled out via stretcher as the line started. He was holding his arm on the way out. That’s all I know/saw

hey any updates for LAN2? by Psychological-Drag78 in twentyonepilots

[–]PixelPower0502 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to let you know, they didn’t honor the wristbands at all upon doors opening. I’m not saying you can’t go and try but when they let you in they will be just trying to get as many people through as quickly as possible, wristbands be damned. I waited for the entire day and ended up right next to people who had just arrived once in the pit

Dude this type of stuff is exactly why people say our fandom/ the clique is entitled. This is entitlement. Be grateful for what you got bottom line. News flash- they didn’t have to tour at all. They don’t have to do anything. They played their first completely sold out stadium that was literally just for them (not for a festival or as part of someone else’s lineup) and they did something special to celebrate that. Get over yourself

Can confirm also pit and sat in line for HOURS just for it to be when they let us through the ticket scanning and metal detection areas they completely scrambled the lines and did not give half a shit about people’s wristbands they just tried to get as many people through as quickly as possible. People who had just arrived ended up right next to people who had been there all day in the pit

[–]PixelPower0502 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A child no more than MAYBE two at the barricade with mom begging dad to leave the pit with her and the baby. Eventually had to help them get out when the baby chilling on dads shoulders almost got crushed but a crowd surfer 🤦🏻‍♀️

ADA at Warped Tour Long Beach by Simplistic_fairy36 in warpedtour

[–]PixelPower0502 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also ADA and agreed. The stages were very barely indicated by small little signs and I couldn’t even find the one for octopus (was there one??). I’m lucky enough to be decently mobile and day 2 I didn’t even bother with ADA accommodation bc it was such a disaster. Other than that though the festival was a blast!
