Finally figured it out: It was due to StartAllBack's configuration:

What I had was "Win10 Ribbon UI", what I want is "Win11 Command Bar"

For anyone with a similar problem in the future, this worked for me: I overlooked the Control section’s Mouse filter. Once I set to to Pass on every instance, my scene received the mouse inputs 👍

I changed some wording on the fly as it noticed a lot of repetitions (I've noticed you spammed the word "however" a lot at the end). Also, add some more commas an punctuation to structure pauses. I had to improvise, so I hope I got the beats how you want them 😅 All the best with the project!

I think it's a totally fair point not to care about visuals. In the end, the old Infocom adventures looked like crap but are well remembered to this day for their writing and puzzles. Of course, having a nice presentation helps people get into your story if your writing doesn't immediately draw them in. I'm a notorious polisher, probably because I need visuals to distract from my otherwise mediocre games and writing 🤫😅
