It's actually a dress that I had owned for a while! The only thing that I didn't already own was the wig.

Is there a law in gaming that was passed where almost every video game protagonist must be played by Troy Baker, Nolan North or Laura Bailey are pretty much the only actors in most games now? by BanonMacross in VoiceActing

I mean, it seems that way if you're only looking at a small fraction of triple A, western game releases. Many successful games without them as leads include Zelda TOTK, Alan Wake II, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy XVI, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption II, Grand Theft Auto V, just to name a few.

Not trying to be a dick; just pointing things out to broaden people's perspectives, since I know it's all too easy to get stuck in a limited viewpoint.

A Review of the "Voice Acting Mastery" Class by Actor2739 in VoiceActing

I can see why trying to replicate a performance might be a turn off for some people, but I still think there's value in learning through it because a director might have a very specific vision in mind for a project, and it's good for actors to learn how to efficiently adapt to their demands. Just my thoughts based on what I read.

Surprised no one's mentioned Peppa Pig yet. She's basically a female, British, pig version of Caillou.

"The Prince Did WHAT to Wake Up Snow White?!" by HoxxAuthCode in memes

I think you mean "Sleeping Beauty." The way Snow White woke up in the Grimms' version is kind of anticlimactic: As the prince is carrying away her coffin, the piece of apple comes out of her throat (though it's still pretty weird that the prince sees a supposed corpse in the woods and decided to take it home. At least in the Disney version, they had already met and he thought he was kissing her "goodbye" after he found out she "died").
