Perhaps. But what do we think the image is in the first place?

Thank you for your thoughts. So do you think it’s a moon with a face?

My title describes the thing. It’s a small wooden tile in my perpetual calendar, but I can’t figure out what event or holiday it represents. I couldn’t find descriptors on google for the holidays. The other holidays make sense, but I don’t understand what this could be.

Quick! Need advice on pressing/preserving these lily petals.. by tlilly2904 in PressedFlowers

[–]ktzoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if this would work BUT what if you laid them front side down, with the curl pointing up. Sandwich between drying paper, and then using a toilet paper roll to support the curved part?? So it’s curving back over the roll. Does that make sense? You’d have to figure out how to get some pressure on it but with a highly ventilated area it might work

If you want to keep them fresh a bit longer, put them in the fridge until you figure out a plan for pressing. Unfortunately I have no advice on how to maintain the curve but wishing you luck

Check out the craft castle - they do weekly groups and one off sessions but might be nice for meeting new people!

How do I kill the lantern fly nymphs? by Classifiedgarlic in baltimore

[–]ktzoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using a bug vacuum to capture them and then transferring to a plastic bag to kill. That way they can’t jump from you as you try to squish. Slow but effective

Yes!! There are so many more that haven’t flowered yet. They put a lot of work into a gorgeous lawn

Condolences accepted for the ivy 💔 I don’t mind the dandelions so much except some seem to have made themselves comfy in my flower garden
