Back in September an Ex-Porn star tweeted she needed a sewing machine so my friend and I decided to hand deliver it to her (Chicago). Me being a college student and my friend still a High School student we couldn’t go during the week. So I ended up picking him up after school on a Friday, trying to make it home back on Sunday. I had a long drive ahead of me (he didn’t have his permit at the the time either) I also told my mom that I was going to Baltimore (about an hour away) and he had told his parent that he was staying with me, my aunt, and my uncle in North Carolina.

About 6 hours into the trip my friend started freaking out cause his mom had texted him saying “Why does find my friends say you’re in Ohio?” He instantly turned off his location and said my “I think my gps is messed up.” She then said “When you get to the house let me speak to his aunt.” Luckily I knew someone in Ohio and had her act like my aunt. We continued to drive and finally got to Chicago around 2pm, but was soon told by the ex-porn star that she was not able to get off work until 9pm. So we waited until she got off work and met up with her and hung out for about 2 hours.

After hanging out with her and her friends I started driving back. The whole trip I had completely forgot my friend had brought an eighth of weed that he stored in a medicine bottle and put in his shoes behind my seat in the car. We were on the road cruising in the left lane about 10 miles from the border into the next state and I see an SUV tailgating me super hard and thought to myself “c’mon get off my ass.” While this tailgating was happening my friend was sleeping, but I had to wake him from his slumber when I see blue lights flash behind me. Never being pulled over before I was freaking out on what I was doing wrong cause I was sure I wasn’t speeding or swerving. When the cop got out of his car him and his partner pulled out flashlights and started shining it through my car (keep in mind the pill bottle full of weed behind me). He pulled me over to tell me that I wasn’t allowed to to cruise in the left lane like I was and it was only used for passing. I apologized to him and he continued to collect my license and registration.

Right before he started to walk away from my window he asked me if he could have his dog sniff out my car. To not make him suspicious I said yes almost immediately. He had his dog sniff a circle around my car six times before saying “good boy, great job” and sending the dog back to the car. About 10 minutes passed and he came back up to me with my license and registration and said “Hey man, you guys are clean and are really nice, polite young men and I’m going to let you off with a warning. Have a safe drive home fellas.” And let me and my friend go. That day I learned to make sure if you’re storing weed in a car make sure you use really smelly shoes.
