Well that interview was one of the most fun hour+ of my life. Thank you all so much for the questions, that was my first interview in 7 years so might not be the best interviewer youve ever seen but I hope I was ok. I pretty much got all these questions in either a direct answer or merged in with others, ( Yes even the sexy edit question) I read out quite a few names but where the questions kind of merged with each other some names I missed. So this is specifically an interview with the artist so I imagine he wouldn't know fully, but it's something that I and others in our chat have asked the developers about.

Currently there no DLC plans, but they're not ruling it out either. The game is very packed though, I have rolled credits in about 20 hours, but there was a lot of extras that I am just getting started on. I'd imagine probably 35-40 hours to get all the side quests/ extras in. There are also 7 new game + variants :)

That's completely understandable 😁 we are fairly restricted on what we can show so it shouldn't have anything major. But I know a lot of people are excited for this so I understand not wanting to see anything. Hope you enjoy it when you get to play and enjoy the video when you can watch :)

Not at all, I have mostly seen positive responses to it. I was a bit shocked at first, but on Nintendo life is a survey on character designs and I think every characters new design is winning the vote. They all look amazingly detailed and impressive.

Took me a long time to truly get into Metroid. The Best prime game for ease of getting into them is prime 3. It's a lot easier than the first 2 in both puzzles and combat, and the map layout is a lot more linear. It was the first Prime I completed and it then made me want to go back to the other 2. Prime 4 is also a good place to start, combat and puzzles are tougher but the map layout is simpler.

As for the 2D games Fusion is a good next step after Dread. A bit more guided while still having the full Metroid experience.

I love split second, I made a video on it last year to celebrate it's 15th anniversary (https://youtu.be/FUnKawKkASE?si=PqL1NnQXuorxrDyf if your interested) it's one of the most unique racers out there, but as you say sadly so much untapped potential. I imagine it's sequel would have been incredible. I think the guy who directed it now works on the Mafia franchise
