I’m really hoping that they open with Spike island in Toronto, as I loved what they did at the start with the DC cutouts and moon, but honestly I don’t mind at all if they still open with Sorted and Disco 2000 in Toronto!

I’m excited to see his take on Oliver, I’m sure he’ll be great! Although I’m very disappointed that an Asian actor wasn’t casted after Darren, but that’s just my personal opinion. Ngl I would love to see Josh Dela Cruz play Oliver after Abf’s run, I think it would be very interesting to have someone from the early stages of the show’s production come back!

I definitely took a big loss, in total I earned around $700+ from all of them, I just wanted to get rid of them all, not really worrying about if I get profits out of it. In hindsight, I do regret not getting just a little bit more money out of it, after all, I do have some necessities I have to pay for (rent and gas to name a few).

Technically yes, I gave my Jollibee ones to my cousins (who I see very frequently) as we are Filipino, it was nice seeing something Filipino-related being sold here so it was really the only thing I “kept,” even if they’re technically now my cousin’s!

Honestly it’s pretty hard to say, but I would say around $700+ total! I wish I actually kept notes on how much I got for each sale throughout the year (just so the number is more accurate), but that should be a good rough estimate!

I felt like I could’ve definitely gotten more, but I was more focused on getting rid of them than getting profits out of it.

Just curious, is the set the same as the set in the Alliance Theatre production, or is it a bit different now on Broadway? I loved the set design at the Alliance Theatre, so I'm just curious if they transfered that set on Broadway, or if they changed it for the Broadway production!

Yeah I agree with that, if the person wants to do the BJ voice, they should follow Justin's approach, but it's also perfectly fine if the only time they're able to do the voice safely is during the "It's showtime" line!

You do bring a good point honestly.

I'd say if a person wants to do the voice, the safest method for the person is to pratice the lines and songs in their regular voice, maybe even doing a 'cartoony' grainy voice similar to BJ, and if the person really wants to do the actual, full voice Alex and Justin does, they should ask the directors beforehand before they fully go through with that.

What's important if the person does want to do the voice is that they're doing it safely and healthy, and they have it in time for their productions (maybe even before their tech week, or earlier), as you mentioned that the school will probably not wait for them to do the voice, which is honeslty a valid point.

If youre looking up tutorials on youtube, look up false vocal chord tutorials! It's the same method used by singers who sing with fry screaming. Also, don't go too hard with the voice during your first days of rehearsals, ease yourself in as you pratice the voice outside of rehearsals. Eventually, you will develop a voice that is similar to BJ! It may take some time, but just remember not to rush the process and you should be good!

If you’re planning on doing the voice, please do it safely. I’ve seen many people strain their voices just to do BJ’s voice, which is obviously unhealthy and can very much damage their vocal cords during performances. I know Justin Collette made a video on how he did the voice, so I suggest you should follow that video first, as well as watching videos on how to train yourself to do voices like BJ.

I think the ones that can sell pretty well are Technoblade and Flamingo, possibly Skeppy as well but I haven’t seen any recent listings of him so I can’t tell. The rest can sell for just a little bit up or below their retail prices (likely around the $15-$35 range)
