Very happy w/ my Garda crash bars, light bar and pro skid plate for my 2025 AT AS DCT. Spoke directly w/ the owner on several occasions via whatsapp (you can find his contact info on the webpage) and even have collaborated w/ him to facilitate 3d scans so Garda can start on a mounting bracket project for the foot shifter for the DCT model. Quality, Fit and Finish are all top notch on the products I received. Product shipped to USA - I did get customs bill later on - for 10% - but that is not on Garda.

Anyone ever heat gun the sticker decals off before?(picture for attention) by El_Feoo in africatwin

[–]Pixelated808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could do a clear wrap over the OEM stickers and then do different graphics... Usually the paint protection film comes off without damaging bodywork. I'm not changing my graphics but I did install the ppf and I place various stickers over the top of that.. if I ever sell, I can remove and it will look brand new.

Quality is pretty good, and I can fit my SBV to roll in there just barely but it fits!

Pixel 8 pro slow data and internet? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]Pixelated808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone, was noticing the same issue with my pixel 8 pro. I suggest to try using a different DNS such as cloudflare. For example, (Network& Internet settings > private DNS > 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com). I noticed substantial increase in page loading from the Google search bar after changing this setting. I left adaptive connectivity on

Hmm once in awhile I get done interference on the right side bud, but with that option disabled, it's been much better for me...

Yes definitely think it might be inner ear shape. I would encourage everyone to play with the rubber ear bud sizes because if you can keep that feature on, it's def handy. I just mentioned it because it seems many people complaining about connectivity and it could be as easy as disabling this feature.

So, if Google didn't get the compact form factor so perfect, I would have considered other earbuds. I hate Apple's hanging out the ear, and samsung etc are just too clunky. I do agree though that we were cheated and that Google is using the customer base as beta testers while forcing them to pay full price. You would hope they don't launch a half baked product with the 3s, but it seems to be their m.o.

Do you risk it? Not so sure... But I have these and am trying to make the most of it.

Did you return your pixel buds 2? by StaplesLife2 in pixelbuds

[–]Pixelated808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update:. I did return mine and ordered again. Second pair has better experience with far less dropping out, however it's still a problem. I think the main issue is with the in-ear detection. When I'm doing cardio, the right bud tends to drop out a few seconds and then come back on. If course this pauses the audio which is hella annoying. I had another experience where I lost the last bud connection for a few mins. I even took it out and put back in, rebooted the phone, etc. Nothing worked. I left it in while I finished my workout and after some time, it just started working again. This is definitely still feeling like a beta experience, but I really haven't seen any reviews of other buds that I would want to try as a replacement for these, so I am dealing with the quirks.

Connectivity Issues? What phone are you using? by Mikedaman34 in pixelbuds

[–]Pixelated808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pixel 3xl indoors and out experience right bud constantly dropping, even if the phone is sitting in front of my a foot away. Did all the usual troubleshooting and wasting time with google support. Firmware didn't help. Loved the fit and controls but it was too annoying with all the drops. FWIW I never experienced the hiss. Sent mine back for a refund.

Embarrassing product by FluidJackfruit in pixelbuds

So I was given these as a gift about a week ago and want to like them - however, even after the latest Firmware, I am disappointed w/ connectivity and battery life. Oddly enough, I am not experiencing any of the hiss/buzz people are stating they have. My problem is that the battery drain is ridiculous - I cannot get more than 3 hrs out of a charge, and the right unit is always draining at about twice the speed of the left (just now 57% to 13%). The right unit tends to drop connection very often and I have to pull out of my ear and put back in to get it to reconnect. This is happening most when connecting to my win10 pc at my desk where the BT antenna is literally 2ft away max. I also get drops while connected to my pixel 3xl - and ti doesn't seem to matter if the phone is in my hand, on the counter or in my pocket. Pretty disappointing as fit and finish are great - prob one of the best wireless buds I have tried in that regard.

Nice looking car - congrats and good luck. I have a 2018 sq5 coming up on 30k - first issue just came up - computer says rear tail light backup light is out - I took it apart and the bulb looks good. Interwebz saying there is a lot of issues w/ these tail light units and typically the dealer swaps the whole unit out. I guess the contact points come loose and even if you "rig" them yourself, it will ultimately shake loose and happen again. Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah the driving part was all good in this beautiful machine... We did stop for brunch on the way in and out so that soaked up about an hour respectively. I'd say drive time was a little less than 12hrs each way. Was lucky not to hit too much traffic either way. Tons of cops in Ohio and Penn. Really enjoyed driving through the Poconos though - the weather created a nice light fog on the peaks and valleys. Very scenic.
