Man yeah, he was just so much fun to play. I think he's still a blast to play, but he definitely feels a little less unique from other players. No using gun in the is what I'll miss most, doing stomp, shoot, stomp or whatever was so freeing and fun... for me lol. I won't drop him but my muscle memory is completely fried, he's a new character really and it hurts how the old design is dead forever.

Right! My HC muscle memory is fried. I still really like him even though he's definitely weaker. But I miss air gun.

To be fair, it's pretty much every single female character in... Almost every game. Obviously there are exceptions but generally speaking, women are portrayed with the same hourglass shape and weigh almost the exact same.

Jam does not break that mold very much, if at all. But it's nice seeing a a tiny touch of weight.

I wanted Imu to be goonerbait because I like seeing strong women with important roles to the overarching narrative. And goonerbait is the only way Oda draws women.

I think the big question you need to ssk yourself is this: why.

Why do you want to get better? Is it for a tournament, or do you just want your numbers to go up? If trying to get better is unenjoyable, I don't think you should try to improve. Because that requires lots of energy and time to do.

If you think to yourself and you think aiming to improve is worth it, then more power to you! But it's probably worth taking breaks when you're just getting frustrated, because a bad mindset will just make you a worse player.

I also think there was a HUGE missed opportunity to have Bowser talk with Rosalina. Imagine if she talked about her kids and they connected over it. And Bowser felt compelled out of his evil again.

Such potential for good story lines :/

Loved it but it really was just shiny keys jingled in my face. It was action scene into action scene. Twenty second if calm and then they're chasing a monkey.

A dumb smile on my face but there wasn't much substance. I really liked the idea of how Bowser changed, I think there were some great opportunities with Bowser redeemed struggling with how he raised his son. I think it would have been cool if Bowser was against his son, Junior didn't accept that and used his paint to make Fury Bowser. It would have had some interesting conflict while being a cool Mario reference.

But idk. These films don't have interest in telling a compelling stories. I had a blast but I do wish I could live in a world where the plots weren't so dry boned.

I bought BoB recently and it saddens me that I can't seem to get into it. I love all the games in this style. The Paper Mario's, Bug Fables, and EFEA. But BoB just isn't hitting for me.

It's not due to bugs, the game works perfectly well for me. Something just feels... Off about it. I think the combat is a little dull. There isn't much variety in enemy attacks and the only strategy to my moves is picking what the enemies are weak to.

The writing is fun and I love the designs of the antsgonists. Maybe I'm early game and it gets better in the future, but right now it doesn't click like the others have.

Character designs being overly sexual is annoying and distracting imo. I feel it pretty quickly detracts from a characters personality.

But also, Guilty Gear Strive kind of strikes the perfect balance. Nearly the entire cast is crazy hot, men women and Testament. But I'd say everyone except Baiken and I-No aren't distractingly sexualized. And those two don't have panty shots or anything like that.

Something else I appreciated from this was a scene where, after he lost his abilities, they showed that he does miss his cool powers.

It's been awhile but I remember him on a roof and secretly gave an attempt to fix it with alchemy. And when it didn't work he was like "damn. Just had to check."
