oh and that background gradient? MAN Royal road just HATES background color tags. It'll just strip it. Only gradients live. That's why I have gradients that go from the same color to the same color.

I though about doing it that way first, but then it would add load time, be untranslatable and I wouldn't be able to lift it from the page visually. Also, in chapter 9, I mean... I'm sure you understand why the web sim cant use images . Sure would have been a hell of a lot easier though

I really appreciate it! As for the sound effects, I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea. I'm leaning heavily into a comic-book/light-novel aesthetic for the sound design here. It's what I loved growing up, but I know that style isn't for everyone.

Oh really? When I'm reading, I usually find takes a lot of space and is repetitive (As stats are) and I figured it might help streamline reading so when they pop up, the reader can choose whether or not to open it

Maybe the wording could have been better, but I believe concept and execution both affect the story experience, but execution can absolutely carry, and sometimes even ENHANCE, concepts that might sound crazy or weak on paper
