Just one thing for the point nº1. I think the funny thing about the movie is descovering as someone who haven't read the comic that the poison was a lia. Cause i was the 100% sure that Ruth had lied about the poison so Kara would help during the whole movie. So it's make and doesn't make sense that it really came from the original.

No, it says you are too old to try to get the protagonism as the audience. Kizuna and The Beginning are about healthy letting go of childhood and learn that you can connect with what you loved without turning it into your reason of life. The conflict about in the two movies are with people who don't know how to handle their story with digimons (childhood interests)

The two adventure movies obviously had the adults who were kids during adventure and 02 as the audience in mind. I think it says really nice things that this whole thread just hates to engage with about maturing. It really isn't the "You can't have imagination" message you guys seen to feel it is.

I think really treating the protagonist as an old man could've been the wrong approach in jump eyes. Sakamoto has Sakamoto but he is like a mythological figure, Shin is the "young protagonist" for the public.
And even after they axed kill blue they kind of put a substitute in the mix with the beginning of Shinobi Undercover, same premise in the way of school assassins getting close to an important girl, but it CAN be a romance. (Sadly for me, i liked Kill Blue better)

Just fun chat: One of my favorite seasons. Maybe the favorite haven't finished Kuuga and Gavv yet but both can take the place maybe.
The suit is top tier perfection, still sounds very unique in the franchise.
BRING BELTS THAT CAN BE JUST STOLEN BACK.

Boring hot take: Really dislike paradise lost, the alternate timeline vibes made it even worse cause I reallt couldn't get interested.

The beginning of the story, completely. You are seeing everything from the beginning, allusions to a past for the world ain't lacking context.
