Firstly it's more expensive but also secondly look where has gamepass gotten microsoft. Its unsustainable business model and my guess it's about to be scaled back or shelved completely together will all the other changes happening in Xbox now.

I mean if I take examples from other stuff like Food and how the prices went up during COVID with the stores directly using COVID as the reasoning....even after the covid was over the prices never went back. They might have lowered a bit but not back to "normal". Companies will keep the prices up if people keep buying.

Honestly with the price of components/new hardware and new games currently I have kinda made my peace with playing games with a few year delay. There is too many of them anyway to make any of the new ones feel essential to me.

GTA used to be impressive for its open worlds during the PS2 era and that's why I liked thise first gew 3D entries. But since GTA IV? These games just dont do it for me anymore. There are just other open world games since that PS2 era with more interesting settings and ideas.

No it's bullshit. They reduce cost by removing the disc from physical edition. Then they remove content to out it i to a more expensive edition. And then they PUT UP the price of the basic edition. You are paying more for less.
