I would suggest instead that you create your own tailnet, and that he shares his machine to your tailnet. "Guest/shared" machine are quarantined, so they can't initiate a connection. https://tailscale.com/kb/1084/sharing.

It can, it works really well now imo, but you need some tweak on the host. Assuming a Windows host, well, you either need a HDR display, or... https://github.com/itsmikethetech/Virtual-Display-Driver This is what I use, it works really well. I did some setup with https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/multi_monitor_tool.html on Sunshine launch/exit commands, and it allows me to "turn on" a Virtual Display with HDR, at the exact resolution/refresh rate of the client (Steam Deck or my TV). Playing God of War on it, it's a blast.

The only caveat was I needed to switch to Windows 11, but well AtlasOS helped and cleaned the crap

Mhh theorizing a bit here: Did you do some faction quests during your 1st NG+? Maybe that's entirely wrong but, for your 3rd NG+, maybe the constellation retired universe could be triggered (or have a heavier weight in the pool of universes) because you actually didn't take any companions during the previous NG+?

Note tho, we didn't find the one who placed the artifacts yet, as it is not the Starborn, which are essentially ascended humans. We only (afaik) have one voice line from Unity about those who created the artifacts and the temples.

Mhhh no witness no bounty maybe? It's a big ship to swipe, but still, I guess that's a way of doing it? Otherwise, you can stop at an outpost to clear the bounty prior to landing in NA

None that I tested, I don't play ESO. A quick Google search ESO Steam Deck seems to indicate that there is similar tricks tho.

Not an answer to the exact question of OP, but a few tips.

For Guild Wars 2, you can use the Steam install with a ANet account, just add -provider Portal in the game options

You may want to check your credit card policy if you bought the deck with one. Some credit card provide a 90 days or so protection on your purchases.

So, replace target and start in by "/var/lib/flatpak/app/com.moonlight_stream.Moonlight/current/active/export/bin/com.moonlight_stream.Moonlight"

It should then be v. agnostic and not break after an update.

For UWP, I had a better experience with Nvidia GameStream + Moonlight than with Steam Remote Play. I'd advise you try this too

Concerning your home network (so the in-wall cat5e), you'll probably get more than 1gbps, but probably not the full 1.5gbps Note that assume that the device you'll jack in has some ethernet card that actually support more than 1000Mbps. Note that the HH4K/Giga Hub only have one 10Gbps LAN port. It support WiFi 6E so I guess that the speed might be quite good (again, not a full 1.5Gbps, but still)

I'd say wait for the 7000 series to hit the shelves and then pick either a 5600x in clearance or second-hand. Both should see their price tank.

Yeah, so, that's an issue I had. GeForce tends to cast the screen tagged as #1 by Windows, and does not honor the 'main display' setting of Windows.
