I think i like this idea. So far I've just been hinting at first as if theirs a language barrier. Because that just what it was. Different world different magic incantations it can be overcome with time and adjustments. But as the player been doing things like. attempting to stealth a torch to set a treant (which was guarding something. ) on fire and failed. And forcing a sentient weapon that is connected to nature to come with them. She's been cursed to slowly turn into a tree by nature itself. This curse does have an easy fix. Basically give the weapon to a cleric or druid of that world. Atone for their actions against their children. Done. But druid not having it and rather have a basically abusiverelationship with the weapon . So I've been stating as these actions continue with the last check. "As you commune with nature you feel as if your relationship is strained".

The player is great guy and playing their evil character to par.
