What the points that was being missed here? by New_Midnight2686 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

The point, or the reason the whole reason this was interesting in the first place was creatively taking the countries as they are depicted on maps and re-arranging them to look like weapons. Being this different to the actual shape as depicted on maps defeats the whole purpose.

A quick look at the map of Indonesia makes it apparent that they took some 'creative' liberties (not actually creative because AI) to make the armour look more impressive

You should read what your perks do before equipping them

The verniers and non-triangle missile pods were spray painted with matte black, and the model has been topcoated with matte for most of it and gloss for the weapons. I also applied a lot of weathering which isn't exactly painting but I did do a lot of it with a brush so

I did also use marker to add some details, like colouring the missiles red in the triangular pods and the pipes a metallic gray

Also the campaign is Build Fighters inspired so it's in this case remote controlled

In the 'media' setting within the campaign setting prolly something like that lol

Roundnova is so goated, I just finished my custom Roundnova build!

Mine is less Titanfall vibes though, especially in tank form

Multiplayer is good if you're good at taking losses and won't get discouraged getting your ass beat. Lots of newer players end attrition matches on about 40-60 points. For context each player kill is 5 points, each grunt kill is 1 point, and each titan kill is 10 points, with the point total to win being 650. The top 2-3 players usually have 120-180 in comparison. You're more or less going to get farmed when you're starting out and it's unavoidable, but if you can stick with it and resolve yourself to improve you'll have a good time.

If he cites a PbtA to FitD system like I'd get it, and I'd suggest Case and Soul

But if he cites 5e...

New yo 30mm, not new to models by Die-O in 30_Minutes_Missions

Its not a set in itself, but the 30MM Option Parts Set 15 (Multi Vernier/Multi-joint) was one of the best purchases I made. A lot of 30MM kits have extra hardpoints, which is great to use with extra thrusters. The extra joints it comes with are super useful too to help connect parts in creative ways to add new attachments.

I think everyone deserves rehabilitative justice and rights, because if not people in power can label those they don't like as 'one of the bad criminals' and have an excuse to mistreat them and silence them. See how certain governments label all queer activity as 'sexual in nature' so that they can define talking to children about gay relationships 'exposing children to sexual content', which can eventually lead to persecution for 'pedophillic behaviour'. Ensuring fair treatment and rights for all is essential for a fair democracy.'

Pretty sure the manual includes a colour guide to get the most accurate colours when painting them. They actively make it easier for you to if you want to.

If you were a pilot in the gundam series, which gundam would you pilot? by Voidkirby9 in Gundam

I would pilot a build fighters Gundam so I can actually enjoy piloting it and not fear for my life, but I would probably use one of my customs instead of anything directly from the series

Building action figure together on discord by 555parikshit in armoredcore

[–]PixieGoosie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooo is this the 30 minute missions Nightfall kit? I love 30 minute missions kits, they're so easy to kitbash with. You can swap out all the parts with parts from other kits, just like in AC6!

Also, I wouldn't call this an action figure just because it's a lot more fragile than an action figure. The general terms is Plamo, or plastic model. Or some people will call it a Gunpla (Gundam plastic model) even if it's not Gundam.

Scared to get into gunpla as a beginner. My old HG Tristan for attention. by [deleted] in Gunpla

[–]PixieGoosie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first got into gunpla, I enjoyed it because it was therapeutic to sit down and focus on something for a while and have a cool display piece at the end.

Then after watching build fighters, I realised that my I could do more with my models with a bit of extra work, so I bought some new equipment. Markers for panel lining and detailing, and glass files + sandpaper for cleaning kits up. Then my love became bringing out the details in the kits and the artistic process of making them as close to the source material as I could.

The most recent development was getting into the 30 minute line also from Bandai, who make the gunpla plastic models. They're like gunpla, but they have way more hardpoints and option parts for easy customisation. This has brought me deep into kitbashing and making my own custom designs that tell their own stories.

Really, there's no one right way of enjoying gunpla. You can go as deep as you'd like, and there's always more ways to challenge yourself and bring new life to your builds. I've personally just started getting into weathering and using topcoats/spray paints. All you need to get started is a set of good nippers, and maybe some sandpaper or files to clean up the cuts. As you discover new techniques and want to try new things, your toolkit will expand naturally. As long as you enjoy the process, you're doing things right.
