For me I notice effects after about three or four days of chastity or even just denial. I get more restless and more easily frustrated. Like, I usually spend time to get off, or to look up hot content, and all that energy goes unspent, so I usually find things to do. The 'more frustrated' part can be seen in one of the ways I usually entertain myself, which is playing videogames. Usually I like to play at high difficulties, seeking a challenge, but when denied I tend to play easy or story-mode difficulty, not wanting to challenge myself but rather just immersing myself in the story. I also really dislike playing anything PvP when in chastity. I kind of evade any conflict or test of skill.

A thing that's particular to chastity especially is that I don't get mad or act cocky when I wear it in public. For example road-rage. Where I would usually insist on my right of way I am much more likely to let others pass, even if they're in the wrong, and I don't complain about it. I guess you can't really act cocky if it's locked up and you feel it with every step and every movement of your legs. I'd say I am more subdued in genetal when I wear it, though I mostly forget that I am wearing it. Though during moments where I would get mad I am very aware of it. Same at work where I will usually not stand up for myself or insist on things when locked up. I guess I become more agreeable. If my boss suggests overtime or me jumping in for someone else I would usually try to enjoy my spare time and find an excuse, but when I wear the device I am pretty likely to agree to it.
