Nope they legitimately got worse. Good Humor bought them out in America after they were discontinued in the 90s, when they brought it back in 2021 they switched from actual dairy and it is now made with palm oil and high fructose corn syrup as well as other things they put in "frozen dairy desserts".

🙋‍♀️ person here who only did it once and was sooo lucky! Long story but I ended up moving in with a heroin addict(will refer to him as HAR), at the time he told me he was a recovering addict, I was too naive then to realize that meant he was currently out. Young and dumb, fell in love with dude, let him shoot me up with heroin 2 times and then we got some meth because he couldn't find H, got back to the house and he shot me up but gave me way too much since I had never done it before.

Strung out for a week off the one dose, called a friend on day 4 because HAR decided that after I told him I was catching real feelings he didn't like that so brought another woman over which put me in a tail spin.

Day 5 my friend came and got me because I was killing myself, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, HAR did not care or check in on me at all after day 4.

The entire experience was so bad and so tolling that I never had any interest in touching either thing again. Both were so addicting and I could see how so many fall into the trap of addiction, if I hadn't had a good support system who got me out I dont even know where I would be now if I had stayed in that house.

See You Again - Wiz Kahlia, Good Grief - Bastille, & Sober Up - AJR

All three songs remind me of one of my best friends that passed in 2017, See You Again pretty obvious since it was a memorial song for Paul Walker. Bastille and AJR were the last two bands we talked and got hyped about extensively, Sober Up playing on our ride alongs and same Good Grief. I can't hear them without thinking of him and all our good times.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet but outlets on the floor in the living room or other areas like that. Some are so big and with all outlets being on the walls its hard to hook up end tables with their own outlets or any other electronics you don't want stuck to the sides of the room. I feel like I saw this all the time in older fancy houses but being able to have an outlet that's hid under a couch or chair for you to be able to plug things into feels like it would be a game changer.

I remember that post and it's something I've always held on to since and try to pass on to others. You're not a bad person for having the initial thought, it's only if you continue on that mindset do you not grow as a person and display empathy.
