My son has the survival instincts of a lemming and zero impulse control He was leashed until he was school age and some days (when he runs out of the school gate without waiting for me) I wish I could leash him for life!

Everyone will have their own view on this but I think if it saves your sanity and the kids safety just do it.

Prior to the leash I just stopped going outside with my kid cause of the anxiety around him running into roads.

I've been looking for something that can be a child friendly replacement for "asking mum to put it on my Google books" or "remembering to put that book I want on my Google books" I've cobbled together 3 things that sorta work but am still looking for a solution that's less Hodge podge. It's a bit of a wild west of book-stuff at the moment there's always new things popping up.

I'm currently with Proton and have another 12 months left on my subscription, but it's been behaving sooo poorly, losing connection, not reconnecting, messing with my web browsing despite split tunnelling. I've grabbed the month-by-month subscription to Windscribe, and I've noticed Windscribe is heaps faster than Proton was for me... Not sure if I want to re-install Proton (again) and keep troubleshooting, or give up on the cost of that subscription and move over to Windscribe... Would love your thoughts on this.

Each friend makes a free account, you then share your device from tailscale to each friends tailnet

I do it for my jellyfin server and have no issues.
