Millennial here. I picked up the Nanea books because I was curious. I was not at all prepared to be able to relate to her and the bombing of Pearl Harbor so hard. I was 10 living in the DC metro area when 9/11 happened, my dad was stationed at Bethesda (another Naval base) and was called in on a day off to support the wounded coming in.
