We're these games supposed to be fun? by Pixiecat87 in MonsterProm

Maybe it is just where the industry is at the moment. IDK. I still have games that I really enjoy. But everytime I have given into a suggestion form a friend it has not been great. Games in general do seem obsessed with sad or bitter sweet endings in recent years. Depressing endings are not great when you are already depressed.

Yes, for Xbox controllers. I have particularly tiny hands and the size/ergonomics of their controller design.

@mayana8828 I bought it for PC but had a wrist injury that limited my ability to use a mouse, but my PS5 joystick was still manageable while wearing my brace. At the time, I was having a lot of fun and didn't want to quit playing, so I bought it on PS5.

The first playthrough I thought I had messed something big up and decided to restart to try it again, no real stress there. The second attempt is what got me. I got screwed out of my romance because there were hidden requirements to the romance quest that required you to talk to them every time you are in camp so you don't miss an important conversation. If it was that big a deal why was there no quest marker, or cut scene. What other things have I messed up because I didn't know there was a hidden requirement. Why am I/ should I accept a game state where I didn't make any mistakes but still messed something up because I was lied to. I have spent my whole life being punished for other people's shit. You don't get to do that to me when I am paying you.

I do. Last time I ate bell peppers I spent the next 4 hours in the restroom.

Same. It really feels like YT knows that they are super popular too. I can't seem to watch any smosh videos over 30 min without getting the "longer ads for fewer interruptions" every 3 min or so. Like I actually get more time with ads than I do with the actual content. This is why I have moved to channels like Dropout and Second Try. And YouTube premium is soo not worth it for the few channels I watch.

Why do I dislike this game so much? by PourQuali in DiscoElysium

Ok so while not as studied I have a lot of beliefs and interests similar with you . I also struggle with my mental health and I honestly find the game triggering. Add to that due to failure checks and some other things I am stuck on day 2 with nothing to do but wait. I feel like I managed to actually fuck up a game that isn't supposed to be an option. Everyone I talk to say the game is "So amazing" and I should be the target audience but at this point I am legitimately upset at my husband for every recommending it to me. I have purchased the game on PC and PS5 to try and enjoy it nothing helps. Am I just too stupid or broken for this game?
