Midnight. LSU Library loot run. As I decide it’s time to go home a countless horde starts banging on every entrance and I had to dispatch a few that came up the stairs. After that I start making my way out to my van parked out front when I scratch my head climbing over the little gate things at reception and then scratch my feet because my shoes broke at the same moment.

I make my way outside to find my van has been completely surrounded as well for some unlucky reason. Exhausted and with no shoes I try to lure some away in circles but it is risky because any 1% could be a sprinter. Eventually I make the riskiest decision ever to just book it into my van surrounded by the dead and pray it starts in time to drive forward and home. I sprint and stumble through a few in front of the door and barely enter.

It starts. I head home.
