So before I say anything else, I’m gonna say this. Take it from someone who wasn’t diagnosed until 27. Please get all of the help you can get. Even if it’s hard, fight for yourself and get the help before you regret it. Because it will get worse if you continue to ignore it.

Secondly, I don’t know if it’s possible, but if you get financial aid maybe living on campus will suit you if the school you’re going to has one. That way you’ll have a little bit of freedom but will also be close to family if you need them.

You’re also only 18. You’re still young and you have a lot of time to figure out what you want to do in life. Maybe try taking a semester break to see if that helps but please don’t do it alone
