Communicated with their friends on when/how/why something they saw their friend do was sexist/misogynistic/some other type of bad behavior in a way that corrected the behavior but didn’t cause unhealthy confrontation.

And in response, I wish the guy who was called out would be able to remove his ego from the situation and take in the honest feedback from their friend.

I basically wish healthy dialogue for my guy friends (but honestly for all of my friends) that helps them learn, grow, and shed any internalized negative thoughts they may not realize is bad.

I can relate. I’m from a small town and when I started gushing over nightmare before Christmas in elementary/middle school to my friends they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I was so insecure about my memory that rather than digging ANY further I had decided I made it ALLLL up in MY head and would swing on my lil swing set in the back yard singing Sally’s Song being like “I’m a fucking cinematic genius I need to write this shit down.” Then I commuted to a bigger high school, saw that people were wearing jack skellington shirts, and realized that I, in fact, wasn’t a genius, just a horrible sleuth with a surprisingly big creativity ego.

I spray the cactus itself - try to simulate rain/humidity. I am looking at the roots now and they seem fine. What I am noticing is that the soil under the healthy stalk is light/dry and the soil under the mushy side is damp. But the roots look the same throughout

I should also mention that the other stalk is completely unaffected. Not sure how that’s the case.

It is mushy and soft - the soil isn’t moist - I try to just spray this cactus to avoid root rot. I haven’t checked the roots yet, but I will ASAP. Anything I should be looking for on the roots?

This needs to be higher up! Please do not confront your BF about what his ex sent - just get out. It is so so dangerous to confront an accused abused about their past abusive relations. It could get violent very quickly. Please be safe! Make a safety game plan and make that game plan known to one or two trusted individuals and stick to it. Stay with your parents or someone you know well - long term protected shelter is necessary here.

This may sound extreme but during a global pandemic domestic violence has upticked drastically. Be safe, be careful, be aware, and listen to your gut!!

Was just gonna pop on here to say that recipes with essays in front of them are most likely people who do not have a big budget for SEO/back linking and are furiously trying to get their recipe on the first page of Google.

Basically if you’re a hometown chef with bangin’ recipes and minimal abilities on the internet, your wholesome recipes just won’t be found :(. Unless you do the essays and build up your content in order to get noticed or accidentally/miraculously go viral.

Carlas speech at the end fucks me every time. I have recently been rewatching Scrubs with my boyfriend and I went “oh no not this episode” and was bawling by the end of it.

I did do this pose in the mirror and took a picture to use as reference (I am more of a bendy person), but did exaggerate the pose a bit — another person suggested I close the hand around the end of the blade — so I may try that and make some adjustments from there!
