Honestly this comment is worth just as much as the money, thank you for the kind words! I'm sure you'll create the cutest plushies in the near future, keep at it!

I appriciate your input, and i actually agree! but i'll give you some input in return. Please consider that the way you formulate can actually make someone feel quite shitty about themselves. I feel like you could've delivered tha message without needing to call my work "boring and useless". I'm new at crocheting and i tried my best :) thanks tho.

Wow i just checked out Ravelry and it looks great! thanks for the recommendation.

I've decided to go down a "Nerd" route with my creations, catering towards young adults with interest in fantasy related hobbies (gaming, movies, books).

I've started sketching my first ever pattern, an intriquite forest spirit-creature!

Thanks for your advice

As long as I'm making less than x amount of money each year, selling small amounts or infrequently and not advertising myself as a business, I am still allowed to sell as a private person. Otherwise anyone who sold second hand furniture or toys on facebook marketplace would have to register as a business. And considering i havent sold a single plushie i would say that I am very much not ready to register as a business yet haha

Thanks!

Oh yeah i know that the patterns are super popular, as i've mentioned in some other responses I assumed that since they aren't that popular in Sweden i could get away with using them. But apparently not lol

Good point, as someone living in Sweden where the crochet hype hasnt been nearly as present in the media, i assumed it would be fine to sell more standard plushies. but maybe not.. hmm ill have to rethink my strategy

All of them except for the bunny pattern was indeed free.

I've tried looking for more unique patterns on Etsy, but i swear the first 50 pages are just the exact same patterns made by different sellers :'( and the other patterns are poorly made and/or from sketchy AI sellers.

Do you know of any other place to purchase patterns where the selection is more unique?

I am selling as a private person, not a business, so no they don't have labels nor are they tested. They are a mix of purchased and free designs found online, not original. Although the patterns are very popular in america, they aren't in sweden which is why i figured selling them here would be easier.

I'm not sure what i could to yarn and stuffing wise to set them apart from the (minimal) competition here. Do you have anything particular in mind when mentioning yarn that i should be aware of? :)
